Why am I not surprised she has a southern accent? Love it!
"If you're traveling with small children... we're sorry. If you're traveling with more than one child, pick the one with the most earning potential. If you're traveling with someone who needs special attention - like your husband, bless his heart..."
Poorly staged stunt.
Spoke too quickly, everyone was entirely too into it (laughter and applause). Nothing her grandmother displayed was an actual safety device.
Nice try, though. I guess.
Not as funny as my link yesterday
:-)
Very funny, a little too fast to understand, but funny.
Pretty sure I was on her flight once. Many of the same lines..same delivery. It's a pretty clever way to get people to pay attention to the instructions.
Some of the funniest flight attendants I've had were on Southwest. She's good. I caught every word and she managed to hold my attention to the end.
I think I have flown with her also. It definitely made me pay attention to the pre-flight instructions. I enjoyed it.
The flight attendants on southwest are the best. I've always had great service and they're super friendly.
Southwest usually gives their flight attendants a lot of leeway for stuff like that. I remember a few years ago, there was a minor scandal because one used the line "eeny, meenie, mine-y, mo, we're at the gate so you gotta go", which derives from a rather offensive racial slur...
Every once in a while when I fly southwest, I see one of their original flight attendants that were paid pretty much only in stock options in the late 70s. They're the ones with a ton of fancy jewelry.
Ive flown with this flight attendant and she was extremely sweet and funny. She gave the 86 year old woman beside me, her daughter and myself free cocktails. Love her!
They've been doing this stuff for years. Sometimes it's cute, sometimes it gets old fast.
