This B+ list singer who is also an Academy Award winner/nominee and a former reality star recently pretended to show up for something that looked random, but was actually carefully planned. All of the participants, including those who were supposedly surprised were in on the whole thing. Hey, who is going to pass up having her at your event.

No I think her hubby is and she's bearding. David Otunga. That doesnt mean she isnt though.
wasn't she allegedly having an affair with the president of the recording academy?
If she was, didn't seem to help her career at all. I would not be surprised if she is stuck emotionally over the mass murder of her family. It's a lot to get over.
Didn't she win an Oscar & have a baby? Not sure how her career/life could get any better, especially considering the tragedy she suffered through. Scaling back seems like a healthy, conscious choice on her part.
