Cameron Douglas Arrested For Being An Idiot

I noticed most of the headlines today referring to Cameron Douglas' arrest all mentioned he is the son of Michael Douglas. If not for that would any of us really care? It would be just like a thousand other stories every day in this world. Somehow because of who is dad is now we are all fascinated and interested and every site is talking about it. He is so insignificant that he was arrested almost a week ago and no one even noticed.

Cameron was busted by the DEA so he will probably be spending a great deal of time in our federal penitentiary system. He was staying at a hotel that his father pays for and was arrested because he was trying to move $18,000 worth of meth from California to New York. Why not just cook it in New York? I don't understand that logic. Trying to move it across state lines brings in the feds. If you just cook it and sell it all in one state you have a better profit margin and have bankrupt state police departments trying to find you. Hell, $18,000 worth of meth might not even get you jail time in some states.

Cameron is most known for being the Douglas most likely to be arrested for drugs. According to the NY Post, the cops found Cameron was strung out and his place was a mess. Allegedly daddy was pissed.

This isn't his first drug bust either. I think he was arrested for cocaine posession a while back. Dumbass!

Yeah no surprise here, he used to DJ in NYC and was known for supplying the club kids.

"Pissed" as in angry, or "pissed" as in drunk?

Someone must have been watching him, because it's not all that hard to move $18k worth of meth. Cooking it up on the other hand is a pain in the ass and quite obvious to the neighbors. Don't ask how I know these things.

If he were Ryan O'Neil's kid, he'd be the apple of his daddy's drug habit - I mean, eye.

Even knowing now who his dad is doesn't make people care. Hope they give him a nice long sentence.

Tack on a conspiracy charge on top of that drug charge and previous arrests and Cammie is going to be enjoying federal prison for around 20 years. What a frigging goof, it seems like daddy was paying him to stay away from his new family by footing the bills in NYC.

Sad that Cameron chose to live like this, Meth is a nasty drug that destroys everyone around it. At least it won't be ruining some other kids life because he wasn't able to get his deal done. Idiot.

and it's these classic understatements that make me love you more each day, enty. lol.

oh, and @ lisa (n.o.), please share. i keep trying to trap my neighbors. they're doing all kinds of shit over there, and the smell is supposed to be a tip off.....

Actually the explosion and subsequent fireball that destroys all the homes around it will be the tip off.

It's so toxic, it's so awful when you read what it's made of it's hard to believe anyone would even get near it. Yet it's the fastest growing drug of choice. It's also the hardest addiction to stop if you are taking it.

Good luck if you are near a cook kitchen, take your kids in for blood tests, that may be enough for a warrant if your kids have any of the elements in their blood. You and your family could be being poisoned just living near a cook spot.

First question: Why is daddy paying for an expensive hotel room in NYC for his unemployed 31 year old son?
Second question: What has this young man been doing with his life since he was 18 that would warrant daddy paying for an expensive hotel room in NY?
Third question: Sure it's not Mike Sr who is on drugs (What was he thinking?).
Close the checkbook, Daddy! He's a big boy and it's too late to make up for the time you didn't spend with him when he was 13.
