When Conan O'Brien's new show debuts next month he will be bringing back Andy Richter as his sidekick. Even though there was that large gap of years where Andy was not sitting next to Conan, I have always thought of him as the guy from Conan who decided to give acting a shot. The two just go really well together and because Andy is very good at what he does it makes sketches and regular set pieces much easier.

My sister always had such a crush on Andy. She'd even get mad a celebs who ignored him. If I had a nickel for every time I heard, "I don't like him. He didn't shake Andy's hand."
Actually, Andy is Mort in the Madagascar Movies. Hysterical annoyance of a lemur!
I read elsewhere that Max (the bandleader? Is that his name? The guy from Sprinsteen's band?) isn't coming back because of serious health issues. Apparently he's on the mend but it will take a while to get back to fighting strength. Please keep a good thought for him.

THANK GOD there is only about a month to go. As much as I love Fallon & Ferguson, I have missed my Coco. I think they both play off each other well.
@weezy - I saw that too. I was glad b/c at first some papers were trying to play it that Max/Conan had some sort of falling out over Andy & the fact that he got less screen time. I didn't want to believe MW would be that much of an ass.
@Julie - That's awesome! I saw him at The Fox Theater in Atlanta this summer. One of the best nights EVER.

@Julie - Ha! I believe he did. I had read so much about the tour on here & through other posters, I had actually already heard the majority of his bits, but still was a GREAT GREAT show.
I thought Andy Richter Controls the Universe and Andy Barker, P.I. both were very funny.
