I actually opened a newspaper yesterday for the first time in about a year.

Maybe if you opened a paper, you'd have fewer factual errors.

I open them constantly. They're great floor covering when you're painting.

You go Glen Coco!

By the time I get to the paper I've already read all the stories online but nothing can ever replace doing the crossword and cryptogram with a real pen. It's not the same on a touchscreen and never will be! And I like to cut out obituaries if I know the person or articles once in a while to go in my memory box. I'll be sad when I can't do that anymore.

I read 2 papers cover to cover everyday, and i have since I was about 4 or 5. I really took off when i learned to read, lol. Its so hard for me to understand anyone who doesnt read papers, or anything else. One of lifes extreme pleasures.

Speaking of newspapers, I was watching A-Team the Bend in the River: Part 1 episode (25 Sep. 1984)

H.M. Murdock says to the bar patrons,
"Ladies and gentlemen, my name is H.M. Murdock. Better known in the theatrical capitals of the world as H.M.M, or hm-hmm. And I am the greatest director of cinema that has ever exposed a frame of film and I usually get what I want, so where are the two hundred lama wool sweaters that I need for the barbeque scene on the beach?"

Immediately I thought of our mystery commenter and had to share with all of you.

I adore my NYTimes. Sunday only. I will be sad when we no longer publish codex style books and good newspapers. Yeah I'm old.

My parents still get the Star Tribune and the local rag. I've only read online for years now.
