I'm sorry but Stevie is a permanent A+ - the lady is a legend. Plus she hasn't been gone, she's been touring with Fleetwood Mac for years and was on AHS and pops up here and there.
Christine McVie however, makes sense. She's touring for the first time in 16 years.
I saw them last month here in Chicago, and they sound fantastic!
I can see this being Stevie (my idol/rock n roll bitch goddess of my heart). Especially given the feeling younger part.

@Penelope, I have a theory. It's a bit of a stretch, but stay with me.
There's a person in Hollywood who commutes to NYC and Florida, and sometimes overseas. She started out as a PA and moved up the ranks to become a publicist. Now publicists, as you know, are excellent at keeping secrets and spinning stories to their clients' favor. Unbeknownst to most, however, is the fact that this particular person has a very special gift: ESP. She can read thoughts and intentions, feelings and motivations, and if you get on her bad side or annoy her in any way, she will reveal your deepest unvoiced secrets to gossip blogs. She calls herself the Gossip Fairy, and has E on speed dial. Also, she doesn't really like Mr X, transparency is not her thing.
Stevie is quoted as saying the Dr told her she would die or a brain hemorrhage if she did one more line of coke.
I think that would scare her into "Never Going Back Again".

Im also gonna throw the name Joan Jett out there---I watched The Runaways movie this weekend and I really liked it! Dakota Fanning was bad ass and Kristen Stewert was actually really decent and tolerable to watch for once...

stevie is permanent A+. and no way in hell this is her. her sobriety is a very big deal to her, and for health reasons, she would not use again.

Stevie Nicks has been touring solo and with FM for years now..no real absence there. Christine has rejoined the group, she was on an extended absence.
I would say Blondie, but she's been on tour as well and put out an album in 2011.

Not Stevie. She may be having a BIG promotional push with her new album, she has been recording and touring for years. She has never gone away.
