either sucking up to gain favor or selling out to make money.

There's married and then there's married, unless you're a judgmental little bitch.
Maybe the guy confided in a friend how pissed he was his kids got in the way of his hookup. Maybe the kids told the wife and she leaked it. Maybe Katie (or whoever the actress is) told her friends how shocked and horrified she was to come out of the shower and see his kids. Maybe there's a maid or nanny in the house that heard/saw everything. I will never understand why people are so confused as to how gossip gets out. People talk! Even famous people!
I've seen this blind before and I think Goop was the main guess.

I love that kids have no boundaries! And say this as soeone who has had this happen many times, lol. One time 7 yr granddaughter came in bathrooom while i was using it. " Do you need privacy?", she asked me sweetly. " Yes, please.", says I. So she comes in and closes the door! Lololol
@Kno Won Uno - just be careful with that. Your ex might meet someone new and if she's smart, she's not going to go for that. Likewise if you meet someone.

@nutty flavor: If Katie gets caught sleeping with a married man some will still think it was Tom or the cult that busted her. As if they made her do it! I think its hard for some to realize two things can be true at the same time-- COS is a cult and Katie Holmes is not an innocent sweet girl who was just a victim. Both can be true.
You would think people would be more careful when carrying on an affair with a married man. So I think either the woman wants to blow her lover's cover to force his hand OR this is BS.

the health insurance in this country is such a scam.
Boozie. You must not live in the real world of how hard it is to find a job with good health benefits and pre existing conditions only apply in America.
And if you have ever taken medical leave you have to put that down on your application and if you live in a right to fire state your employer can fire you whenever they want without cause.
And Maxxy there are a couple of other options, revenge, someone is pissed off so they drop the dirt to get even and Hollywood is like one big adult high school, or the celebrity or people close to him or her is dropping the "dirt" with some kind of agenda
whether it is to make a gay actor look like a womanizer or otherwise mislead the public, distract, etc.
Or have you ever been in a restaurant or bar and esp if someone is drunk they are a bit too loud and you hear everything they said? Hollywood is full of open ears.

@Tina, yup.. your mention of personal agendas stood out to me - that's exactly it.
maxxy I think it's the same reason why I hear gossip about my cousins boyfriend, or the mom of my friend's friend, or my old boss's ex-wife's new love live. Gossip travels far and fast even when you're not famous! It's like the game of telephone and what you end up with here May or may not be true after it's been passed through several people. I take what Enty says with a grain of salt for sure but to me the least absurd thing on this site is gossip eventually making its way here.
