This A+ list movie director and this permanent A list mostly movie actor who is an Academy Award winner can't stand each other. Seated next to each other at different tables the other night, neither spoke to the other but were stuck because there were no other tables left. The A list actor just got quietly drunk before going on a rant outside the restaurant when he left about the director.

Love these kind of blinds, but truly - what's a community of artists without deep-seated resentment and petty arguements? Sounds totally par for the course! Gotta hold some grudges, yo!

Well, hate to piss on another one, BUT, Pacino is a recovering alky who hasn't had a drink since the early '80's. This is according to Pacino. He discussed it in his interview on 60 Minutes last year. Addicts slip, but not at a public function like that.

Agreed, hairydawg. Pacino doesn't drink and he takes his sobriety very seriously. He could definitely have been ranting, but it was done sober or I'll eat my hat.

1. After looking at the Selena Gomez snaps, I was going to make a joke about her morphing into a Kardashian ... but the DM beat me to it. She sure does look like another K-sister!
2. Madonna ... lol. I know she's in her 50s and all, but com'on ... That's not doing the splits! That's just chucking a spread!
3. Rumor ... also lol. But I actually think she has a minor point here. Those photos look really nothing like her at all. Maybe they just got another model and redid the shoot? Of course she could avoid this kind of problem by recognising that she doesn't have any of the attributes that are looked for in a model, and give the whole thing up as a bad joke. I mean she's not a 'real beauty;' she's got a great body but all-told, she's kinda funny looking.

Team Pacino all the way. He's a strange shy man who doesn't really engage with people he doesn't know well. Truly. He doesn't expect favors, and doesn't give them either.
Also, if Spielberg wanted some bowing and scraping, per normal, before obliging with a a few golden words dropping from his hallowed mouth, Pacino is one who would refuse to comply.
