Today's Blind Items - The Secret Keeper
As has been the case throughout the past week or so, many of these blind items interact with some of the same players appearing in more than one. Actor #1 is your puzzle piece this week to be joined with another blind. It seems to be Academy Award week this week in the blind items and today is no exception. This actress has not only been in this spot before, but has also won an Academy Award. This actress who is still very much an A list actress has not worked much in the past two years but still maintains that status. Much like The Backstabber, this actress also has tried to hold the title of the world's sweetheart. Everyday though, our actress lives with a secret. A big secret. One that she thinks if revealed would cause her to lose any future roles and would also make the public at large feel like they could never trust her. Lets call her Secret Keeper.
For the past 20+ years our actress has been in the closet. That in of itself is not the biggest deal in the world, but it is the way she chooses to create this fiction around her which is probably the greatest acting job ever.
Generally when it comes to the world of beards it is a very male dominated world with gay men finding women to act as beards. Our actress has become a master of the beard and has told friends she used Katharine Hepburn as her role model.
Secret Keeper has always had that innocent look in movies. She tries to stay out of the tabloids and to never draw attention to herself except when it comes to one very important thing. Men. Some of the best looking, most gorgeous actors in the world have been linked to Secret Keeper, but they never actually go out. It is probably fair to say that Secret Keeper has been linked with three of the hottest actors on the planet. All of them A list and all of them supposedly wanting to date Secret Keeper. The truth is none of them have ever dated Secret Keeper but sure are happy to hang out with her. They keep her secret safe while making it look like she is desirable and wanted and all heterosexual. She also keeps their secrets.
The first actor who went along for the ride with Secret Keeper was supposed to be a long term thing. He is an A lister through and through and only shows up on television in cameos. Although these two were supposedly together for a year or more, no one ever saw them out in public. She is not good in public with affection and men. Despite her Academy Award, she is not that good with men on the screen either. Most of her relationships on screen are not about long kisses and sex scenes. In fact, it is really really rare that she ever kisses a man on screen.
Anyway, she and Actor #1 had a thing until she found out about some things he was doing to other women that she found repulsive. He was setting them up and acting more like a pimp than an actor. Plus, he wanted a relationship that involved sex with a woman and Secret Keeper did not play that game so they split. Unlike her other bearded relationships, Secret Keeper never speaks to Actor #1 because of his past actions.
Actor #2 was second on the playlist after Actor #1. He is also an A lister, but probably would never have achieved it without the help of Secret Keeper who showed her appreciation for his year of service by introducing him to people that took his career from a "hey, that guy is pretty good, to an automatic greenlight if this guy is on board." The secret she keeps for him is that, despite the fact that women crave him, he does not always reciprocate. His longest term relationship was a struggle for him because he was always going back and forth between men and women and his B list actress girlfriend did not appreciate that. Actor #2 did introduce Secret Keeper to someone who has become a fixture in her life.
Actor #3 is also A list and is perfectly happy to let the tabloids think that he has sex with Secret Keeper everytime he is single. They don't, but he hates the tabloids anyway and feels like he is sticking it to them each time. They do really care for each other and when he is involved with someone thy can't hang out because then people might suspect they are just friends. It is only when they are both "single," that he can come over and the tabloids go crazy.
In what is probably the best example of her acting skill, our actress even faked a marriage. The couple never had sex, but when he began to stray and get caught, it had to end. She had to play the hurt wife, even though she didn't care at all about the affairs, but the fact that she was going to have to end it and lose her perfect cover.

Leland, I tought JJ was very good in Celebrity Apprentice. I admired him for NOT hitting up his wife's contacts for money. He seemed to be an honorable man. I was disappointed when it came out that he was screwing around with anything he could get his hands on.
That being said, I still think this blind is about Sandra and I hope she comes out some day on her terms.

Lesson learned for Zoe Saldana. She broke up with her long term boyfriend after she developed feelings for Bradley Cooper and even hung out with his mom because she thought it was serious. Lucky for her she learned fast that what Bradley Cooper considers a relationship is that he is willing to let you leave a toothbrush at his place and he will probably learn your name. Other than that it is pretty much business as usual. Zoe needed a change from her past boyfriend but Bradley was not it. I can't remember if I revealed a Zoe Saldana blind item about her old boyfriend and how he micro-managed her career. If not, consider it revealed now. In Bradley's past relationships, he either made a mistake really quickly (Jennifer Esposito) and they ran away very fast, or they had their head in the sand (Renee Zellweger) and they kept saying he would change.
One of my best friends happens to be one of the most conservative, goody-two-shoes in the world, but she is unapologetic and I love her. I didn't have to watch the show, because she fell in love w/JJ and talked about him non stop...lol when his strippergate came to life, she fell out of love quickly...
The blinds lately are longer and Enty seems to have suddenly developed a penchant for Ted C's writing style.
In addition, none of them contain any recent developments- they're all about stuff that happened years ago. There used to be a lot of "guess who doesn't want you to know they're in rehab?" style items, about stuff CURRENRLY happening.
Oh, and IMO, they're all much more easily guessed, especially the ones this week. Hello, Russell, Reese, Nicole, and Sandra!
I know nothing about the finances of blogs or Enty's true identity, but I would imagine he's trying to capitalize on the increased noteriety of his blog after the Himmmm saga by throwing out all the juiciest gossip he's got.
I have read this site for years and personally do not care if the author is the same or not. I still love the blog and blinds regardless.
These blinds have been so juicy lately. I know everyone thinks Himmm has gone, but I think he is still very much with us. I think he writing some of these blinds.
The style reminds me of his comments.
Kinda/sorta OT but related to BI from yesterday: Today, Rita Wilson replied to a tweet on a Twitter account I manage for my company (I referenced My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Rita and Nia Vardalos, who later RT'd the Tweets).
So I'm one-degree from Tom Hanks, but ungroped!
Of course, the change in Enty's blinds couldn't be because previously, he was relying on tips from people he's known forever and now he's got a whole new influx of tipsters thanks to the flacks who see the blog now and he's got juicier BIs.

Hey - guys - the Gawker thing? Don't read so much into that. They're under new management, fired a bunch of writers, etc. It happened a month or so ago. Had to re-do commenters' logins, stuff like that. A lot is different there.

The thing about the radio show was, he actually did have Donal Logue on. So that's a legitimate B-list (and very talented) actor who was on his podcast and clearly knew who ur-Enty was and is. Then he had a very authentic BI about a fading starlet having a meltdown in which he was personally involved a day before the news hit the wires about Estella Warren's meltdown. Then the next day a BI about an actor who sure sounded like Logue and his involvement with a troubled actress who sure sounded like Warren. Those two BI's were highly specific and believable, and they weren't that long ago.
The earliest and most authentic Enty BI's had a definite writing style and content pattern to them. That person still sometimes contributes some damn convincing BI's to this blog. That person is not who has written the latest string of BI's.
For the record, I don't think there's any conspiracy. I just don't like the way things feel lately, there's something off! The writing and content. The commenters that believe RDJ is connected to every blind (Enty is NOT Robert Downey, Jr., I sincerely doubt RDJ gives a f-ck about this blog). The random bonehead saying "hey, look at my wife's ass in my profile pic!" (Please!) Strangers trying to hawk their wares (did you really think you'd get a kind reception?) Not to mention people jumping all over each other because someone said an actress is fat - ?! I'm here for snark and BIs. The only time I get pissy (if someone's being judgmental) is if it's aimed at another reader.
When someone asks over and over HOW we know GB has a small penis (for example), and asks us to show them proof, and will NOT let it go, THEN I think that people are not here for entertainment purposes. I know someone above disagreed with me, but PR is PR - they have to watch everything or they're not earning their keep. Rumors grow legs on the internet (@Ms. Cool, I hear you), and they can stick around forever (hi, Richard Gere!).
No conspiracy, but don't underestimate.
maybe Jesse had to keep quiet about her being in the closet because of a confidentiality agreement? Maybe he got paid to keep quiet about that? He never really did reveal anything personal about her really... nothing damaging anyway.

I disagree that this is Sandra B. The shock of the things JJ did I think that was real. I think he broke her heart at the time. I also do not think the blind item would be so see through otherwise why not just say it directly?

For all of you who think Secret Keeper is Renee: since when has she ever tried to hold the title of America's sweetheart? I think that phrase has been reserved for actresses such as Meg Ryan (in her day), Reese, and Sandra.

You take this way too seriously if you can get "pissy" regarding someones comments, maybe you should change your "anonymous" id to "comment police". In case you have not noticed all of these guesses regarding blind items are judgmental... No one ever knows the truth for the majority of these scenarios hence "blind item"...As for PR people same thing how would you ever know, everything is a guess. No one "in the know" ever comes back and says "keep guessing your in the ballpark, your getting warmer nope cold..."
I have been reading this site for years...it is different now, but it's gone through several incarnations...at first Enty made it all about blinds, then he started getting more "column"-ish, then there was the radio show fiasco (remember? he asked for donations a few times...) all very, very bizarre...I have a theory though...it is common practice in entertainment for higher ups to have assistants listen to entire phone conversations on the other line...that way the assistant can take note of anything that has to get done, etc. and the executive doesn't have to repeat it...so my theory is Enty could just be privvy to this information through conversations...he's missed details in the photos enough for me to assume he's not really on the inside-inside...and if he were on the inside he would have been routed out by now...so I take it as the rambilngs of someone who is privvy to some good gossip that's probably 60%-75% true...
And this blind totally sounds like Sandra Bullock...remember she was also in that witch movie with Nicole Kidman...
It Took Forever -- I don't agree that hardly anyone knew Cole Hauser was at MMc's house, too. I thought it was pretty common knowledge. They were both naked, playing the bongos, and high as kites. McConaughey loves him the maryjane. But again, McConaughey likes the ladies, not the gents.
PS if this blog went away, I'd actually be sad...I know that is really stupid, but it is such a great escape for me and the blinds are great puzzles I love to work on...we're like this little weird community, you know? Like how strangers stuck in an elevator or on a flight get to know each other in a weird stranger-friend way or something...I hope this is just Enty getting more emboldened, not some kind of swan song...I don't care who he/she is, it is a great blog and it's one of the few to be updated so frequently all day.

I'm too lazy to scroll up and see who wrote the Gawker comment, but I think that comment is bordering on conspiracy theorist nutcase.
Gawker stated MONTHS ago that they would soon be changing the way they did blinds. Way before the himmmmm blow up.
The Jezebel article pointed out *nothing* new. It was basically written by someone who read all the CDAN comments, then wrote a summary.
Gawker DID cover the himmmmm madness, and they DID point out that it was probably RDJ.
They are still doing blinds, too, but their own instead of what they have gathered from different sites. Which is actually exactly what they said they would be doing months ago.

I watched Celebrity Apprentice that season too. Oh what am I saying, I watch EVERY EPISODE and LOVE IT. Anyways, I got the impression that JJ didn't want to involve SB because he wanted to make it on his own and not use her coattails. I thought it was rather admirable and HatAss Trump was just trying to stir up controversy by making more out of it than it was.

First thought was Renee Z. but ya'll have convinced me about Sandra. My fam live in Austin and have met both Sandra Bullock and Matthew M. Austin, with it's lack of paparazzi and laid back culture would be a good place to live if one were in the closet. Well played, Sandra.
Per my brother, Sandra is a "big bitch" while my mom absolutely adores Matthew and says he is genuinely nice to people - very warm. A guy who regularly visits elderly (non-relatives) in nursing homes is a good guy, IMO, celeb or not. Sure hope that rape thing is a crazy rumor; I have never heard anything about Matthew other than he's a huge stoner (duh).
I did read a bit before Himmm that the normal BI guy was leaving...There has been a lot of turnover there lately so I agree that new management sounds like the reason. As a reader from the start, it always seemed strange that in all these years, no one has outed the blog owner. That a handful of celebs CLEARLY knew who "Enty" was, there were juicy blinds and yet, no public speculation other than a few people on this blog who were quickly shot down. Also curious that a blog with this much traffic wouldn't be monetized to the max. And need I remind long timers of the time Enty asked for contributions to pay for photo rights--and people did send money. And that aborted, badly written Adrianna Costa column "Fashion or Fiction"? The whole thing's always seemed strange. Oh, and Himmmm may or may not be RDJ, but s/he wants us to believe it is because of all the clues they gave us. Herrr saying she was "now a mother" and all that other crap. I mean--the clues were so obvious. Too obvious.

Holy moly, Kid Sis - how did you find out about this? Well, that certainly answers some questions.
Could Enty have sold the site? I kind of started wondering that when he attempted that Saturday morning radio show or whatever it was. There were some minor celebs on there, I guess calling in. Who does that for an anonymous blogger? I found it odd and definitely an attempt to move toward making money at some point, trying to "grow the brand." The other thing is, all this time, Enty has shown no interest in other social media or even in trying to draw people in. He just told his stories and that was it. Now he's on FB and Twitter. That, in addition to the blinds drastically changing recently, make me wonder what is going on, too. I hope it's the same Enty, just trying something new or different, but there haven't been any big shocks with these blinds. We all knew Ryan O'Neal was an abusive asshole, that Tara Reid trades herself out for drugs, etc. It's the stories being told around them that make them entertainment.
I also found it odd that this RDJ drama has gone on and Enty hasn't said a damn thing about it. That just doesn't seem like Enty. That seems more like a new Enty posting and pretending to be RDJ to create bullshit drama. I mean, really, "RDJ/Hmmmm" practically high-fivin' his buddy Enty in his posts? That was silly.
I'm tellin' ya', "Munchausen by Internet" is real! I hope this is original Enty, but I'm taking it all with a grain of salt. It is still a very entertaining and fun blog.If it's a new Enty, then the blog itself has become the ongoing blind and floor show.

@So-Dem-Say, I 100% agree! I said on another post that I think the BIs are coming from Himmmmm (who I don't think is RDJ, btw). The BIs didn't become juicy AFTER Himmmm left, but while he was still here. Himmmm's tales got more explicit in tandem with the juicer BIs, and that's when he attracted outside attention. I totally agree the BIs remind me of his writing, but also the whole pattern of BIs on this site intensifying goes with Himmmm seeming to be on a crusade to spill a lot of stuff he knew.

i have no trouble seeing sandra bullock for this but it seems more like renee zwellwelldigger but i suck at blind stabs so i dunno.
@kidsis? just IMO it doesnt seem cool to post that stuff b/c that seems to be private business and it sounds serious to them. it made me feel kinda skeezy reading that b/c obviously somebodys real world life has been damaged and i hate innocent peeps getting racked unfairly (esp. like spike lee's dick move).
i do like celeb gossip and snark but wouldnt crap-talk to their faces. i dont like peeking into peoples windows - unless its denzel washington!!.

The griffith legal notice blogspot is a cease and desist letter from TG to the creator/administrator of the "who is himmmm" site on tumblr that the allegations that he is himmmm are untrue and damaging to himself and his family and that they should immediately remove all mention of his name else he will pursue legal action.

She may have a kiss or two per movie (kind of a necessary evil if one's bread and butter comes from romcs) but when was the last time she had a sex scene? I honestly can't think of any racy scenes at all, other than a kiss at the climax of every movie.
I LoVE Sandra Bullock, she seems so...noncunty for a celebrity. I can definitely see her as a lesbian, she's always been more of a guy's girl and not super feminine, she seems sporty and down to earth. It's too bad she feels the need to live a lie, I think she would do a lot of good for a lot of gay people who worry that you can't live openly and be successful and popular.

I agree with @abbe - though I suspect that whoever Himmmmm is might have actually bought the blog from enty and will be overhauling it to monetize it soon.
But I've always gotten a totally gay vibe off SB, and thought it might be wishful thinking (even though I'm not gay, I certainly COULD be if SB was around).
ea17 and Middle Aged Diva - I'm one of those people that have been "shot down" when I questioned Enty's writing style and content over a year ago. I questioned it because the quality was just not as good as it was before. People would tell me to just stop posting or shut the F up.
Anyway, as much as I still think this is not the original Enty (I think the original left prior to the radio gig), I must say I have been enjoying these blinds. I agree with someone else who said these are just the same as older blinds but with more detail. It's still fun but I don't take this Enty at all as seriously as the first one.
One more thing, I find it VERY interesting that Enty now posts in the mornings (including Twitter). I live in the Midwest and the original Enty woudln't start posting until around noon CST. This is definitely not the original Enty.

i was thinking it was SB. i don't believe her relationship with jesse james was real. apparently she still acted like she was with him until the papers broke the story about him cheating and she knew about it already - keeping it quiet so as not to ruin her oscar chances. the relationship just looked dubious. however i didnt think the BI about the racist star would be SB because it said that she avoided starring in films with black people - so why would she do the blind side? the whole point of the film is racism.
