Rachel McAdams Has Been Calling Ryan Gosling

It was only a matter of time before the tabloids forced the issue and tried to get Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling back together. It is not like Ryan and Eva Mendes are going that strong and Rachel is now single after her recent breakup with Michael Sheen. Now Magazine in the UK is reporting that Rachel has been calling and texting Ryan constantly and that Eva is a little ticked off at all the recent attention Rachel has been giving to her man. If Now sells a lot of their new issue, look for US tabloids to follow suit and try and force the couple together. Apparently Rachel and Ryan have always kept in contact but now it is becoming more than just a hello. The MTV Movie Awards kiss is below. Yeah, that is Lindsay Lohan showing her face.

I do believe Rachel and Ryan are still friends since they've always spoken highly of each other post break up. I just don't buy that she would call him for support during her break up with Michael. If a more reputable U.S gossip magazine jumps on this, I may be inclined to start believing, but as of now, there's just no way.; 9:29 AM

crila16 said...: First off...I can understand why Eva would be upset. Even though the world knows she and Ryan are a total mismatched couple, she's still Ryan's current girlfriend. If Ryan cared about Eva...he would tell Rachel to back off, but apparently he hasn't.

I've always thought that Ryan was more into Rachel, than Rachel was ever into him. I think he really still loves her...and I think Rachel cares for him, but not romantically. It seems she may be taking advantage of him, because she's upset about the demise of her relationship.; 10:24 AM

I think him and Rachel made a nice couple but I don't think they would ever get back together, they have both moved on even if he did move on to Eva who I don't feel matches him.; 11:34 AM

It will or it won't happen at some point, but trying to force people together is generally not a good idea. (And no, I don't think Kate-and-Leo will ever get together IRL, either; while they seem to be very good friends, and they may well have hooked up years ago, I don't see him ever committing to just one woman over the long haul, whereas she does seem to want to be married and settled down. elspeth said...: This is so interesting in a strange way to me. Gosling DOES seem to 'hit' people in some roles and leaves others cold in the same roles. But he obviously hits the right buttons w/some while leaving others cold.

Silly Girl said...: Interesting thought process, Elspeth, but I think you're right on. I think part of his attractiveness is that he is NOT all that physically attractive, but it's the whole presentation. Watch him in his roles: body language, the way he looks at the women, the physicalness of his roles....he's making the woman feel safe, wanted and at the same time, he comes across as a little vulnerable. Maybe that plays into woman's need to 'nurture'. I think that's why he is SO attractive to some, yet not to others. The 'others' in that last sentence probably are attracted to a different type of guy. Maybe drop dead gorgeous, in a suit...Wall Street type. I'm not sure....

I agree. I think his role in Crazy Stupid Love really made him super attractive to me. It wasn't so much his looks (although his body is ridiculous), it was his confidence, which just oozes sex appeal to me.

I always thought they were a cute couple, not so much based on the Notebook, but just in general. I didn't even think Ryan was that attractive back then, but now... Oh my!!; 10:21 AM

I mean if it is scripted why bother. It's along the lines of the interviews for soon-to-be-released films where one actor/acress is asked what it was like working with some other actor/actress and it is always 'he/she was awesome, it was amazing, he/she is such a huge talent, I mean it's just awesome...' blah-blah, snooze snooze. It never changes. OK, that's the name of the game and everyone has a film to sell, and the first actor/actress to say 'so and so was a complete pain in the bum' will never work again - will, the will work again but as a superstore checkout clerk.
