Today's Blind Items - Temper Temper
It has barely been a month and this actress is in her second blind item. This is not a good sign. The fact that things are leaking about her this early into her career means there will probably be some headline worthy disasters coming from her. Shame really, because most of the time she seems really nice. Sure, if you compare her to an actress from the same country she hates it and will tell you not to bring it up again. Ever. Smile on her face but the eyes show she means it. The nature of her current movie means she probably won't get above B list for a while. She showed some flashes of temper on set but everyone assumed it was the tension and the role that brought it out and no one really made a big deal of it. Some screaming and yelling and throwing of things, but it was all about her "character."
Fast forward to some of the first press interviews she did for the movie. They did not go well. Never really having done that sort of thing, she took things a little too personally and made some comments to reporters and others that were a little too sarcastic and biting. Right at the edge. Behind the scenes of the past month, she has been a nightmare. Screaming at the first sign of something not up to her standards which seem to change by the minute, to literally throwing away into a trash chute in her hotel a designer dress she didn't like because the designer didn't fly halfway around the world to present it to her in person. She wore an off the rack dress a studio PR person found with about 45 minutes to spare before the car took her to a premiere. The studio PR people have been cycling through all the cast in the movie but no one wants to have their turn with her. Things need to change quickly if she wants to work outside this franchise.

I think she sounds just like Keira and looks similar - that part totally fits, but I thought her Star Wars role was supposed to rocket her to A list?

She actually reminded me of Emma Watson in her action pics but I just now looked at alot of her images & I can see a young Keiraish look going on.(I know Daisy hates the comparison from her quotes but hell, i'd be really okay with that).

Haven't the other blinds about the young Star Wars actors said "about to be A-list?" So the male stars get to A-list from it and Daisy gets to B-list. Ain't Hollywood grand?
It says the 'nature of the role' will keep her B list. Star Wars is huge but it's still just a sci-fi cartoon so that fits. I know nothing about Ridley, let's hope it's not Lupita with a case of Oscar-bitch-itis.

What else has this chick done? Not that credits or Oscars give an actor the right to treat anyone badly, but this bitch has no clout and she's already being a diva. Let's hope she doesn't get the chance to continue her behavior. Shame on those within the industry who indulge her. And I hope the designer charges her for that dress!
Daisy but she's so young and people comparing her to Keira are assholes, it's obvious she doesn't like it.
Don't see much the similarity between Keira and Daisy, while sometime, in some scenes, Keira looks like Winona Rider, where Winona is the BETTER looking anyway.
I hadn't heard the comparisons before I saw her in Star Wars, but while watching the movie, I couldn't get over how much she reminded me of Knightly. It isn't so much the way she looks (only a passing resemblance) -- it's how she speaks. I mean, literally, how her mouth moves as she talks. And her voice is so similar, it's weird.
Daisy will crash and burn at this rate if that type of behavior continues if that happens I'm sure she'll remain someone in terms of actress in the UK. Funny never heard of her before SW:TFA

I'm not a Star Wars fan but I saw Daisy on Jimmy fallon and she was cute. I said she could be K Knightley's little sister. At he time I hadn't heard the comparisons. Oh the hastle, to be compared to someone so talented and pretty?
Daisy Ridley looks NOTHING like Keira. Only thing they have in common is the access, hair color, and A-Cup boobs. Their smiles are completely different. And Daisy has more of a round forehead. Might as well compare her to Sienna Miller as well while you're at it.
However, I do think this blind is about her. Which is surprising because in Interviews/Instagram she doesn't come across as that at all and very humbled and excited about her new found fame.
Oh speaking about her A-Cup, I stumbled upon some topless photos online from one of her few previous acting gigs, for those interested.
