The Angelina Jolie Wedding Magazine Covers

Usually the tabloids don't release their covers until Wednesday, but this week because of a possible leak, both People in the US and Hello in the UK decided to show their covers early. I'm not sure I like People's cover. I think the whole point of Angelina's dress, or at least what makes it interesting for a third wedding are the drawings of the kids on the dress. On People's cover you don't see them at all and what parts you do see aren't clear enough to make out the fact they are drawings. Another thing going for the Hello cover is Brangelina kissing which is missing from People. They went with the kind of pose they love and would probably be the same one Nicole Kidman would do. A final strike against People is they have to find other ways to get eyeballs inside so they have a blurb about the fall television season and Meredith Vieira. 

Brangelina Bail On Promised Donation

While visiting Australia earlier this year, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie wanted to visit a theme park with their kids. Unable or unwilling to do so during regular business hours, they convinced Dreamworld to stay open late four separate nights and in return for the privilege promised to make a donation to the wildlife fund of the park. According to the Courier Mail no such donation has ever been received and the park is ticked off because they had to pay salaries and extra expenses of all the workers who stayed late those four nights. I'm surprised this made it out publicly. You would think the park would have been in touch with the same people who arranged the four visits and asked for the donation. Brad and Angelina don't like this kind of negative publicity so I expect someone will get fired. If Brad and Angelina make a financial commitment, they usually follow through.

Brangelina Weekly Marriage Announcement

A few weeks ago I heard that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were getting married in New Orleans. I don't think it happened. It might have. I mean Billy Bob Thornton could have flown in and performed the ceremony and then claimed some weird privilege where the person who marries the couple has sex with the bride first. I think that was in Braveheart wasn't it? Anyway, they could have done it all under the radar, but doubtful. Anyway, there is some huge party being planned at their French place. It could be the kids have planned some kind of house party, but the French media think it is a wedding. I'm not sure I really care at this point except for thinking of other bizarre people who could marry the couple.

If Your Child Goes To School With Brangelina Brood Then Shhhh

You know, if I am a parent of child in the new school that Brangelina's kids are now attending in Budapest I think I would be a little miffed that I suddenly have a whole bunch of new rules to follow. I say this because all the parents of students and all the teachers had to sign confidentiality agreements and if the parents talk to the media they will be fined. If they do it again their child will be indefinitely suspended. Really?

The kids have started school late, will probably be gone by Christmas, but it is the parents who have had kids in the school forever that are having to jump through hoops and having to sign everything for what? So, Angelina can pretend her kids are normal and go to regular school. They really don't. What is wrong with the tutors they have been using?

You can argue that it is good for the kids to go to normal school and I agree. Except, for the fact they have started late, will be leaving early and so nothing about it is normal. Is it really better off for them to go to school for three months and then never come back or just not start at a regular school in the first place?

Which Cover Sold More?

So, the one on the left is the best selling baby issue of Kneepads Magazine of all time. In fact, it is the third biggest seller in their history. The one on the right is Sandra Bullock and her new baby. Which cover sold the most? You would think it would be a no brainer. When Brad and Angelina had the babies it wasn't really big news. Everyone knew she was pregnant, it was just a matter of wanting to see the pictures. On the other hand, Sandra and her baby was actual news. No one had a clue she had a baby. People wanted to read that. So, so you would think Sandra would crush Brangelina.

The results. The estimate is that Sandra has sold 2.7M copies while the Brangelina cover sold 2.8M. Now, it is possible that Sandra could still catch Brangelina, but to me, I would have thought she would have move passed the Princess Diana issue of 3M to move into second place all time.
