Tara Reid Gets Paid Lowest On American Pie Reunion

I think Tara Reid is pretty lucky to be getting $250,000 for her return to her role in American Pie. I think the fact she got that much is because producers really wanted the entire cast so were not going to quibble too much. I guarantee you that if she were offered some movie right now she would get way less than half that. Definitely under $100k. Yes, it seems like a lot outside of Hollywood, but when Jason Biggs gets $5M, then you know things are crazy stupid. The Hollywood Reporter managed to get all the salaries from the stars in the movie and someone in the producer's office is probably being yelled at right now and the agents for the actors are probably wondering if they could have got more or if they got played. Whoever the agent is for Natasha Lyonne should be patting themselves on the back because she got somewhere between 500K and 750K for reprising her role. She probably has not made that much money combined in every year since the last movie was released. The Hollywood Reporter has all the salaries.

Chris Klein Tells The World He Is Extending His Rehab Stay

I always thought rehab was supposed to be a private time. A time to get your head on straight and to try and get sober. Give yourself some support while you take on the first 30 or 60 days. Oh, or in Lindsay's case, 90 glorious days with no early release!!

Anyway, Chris Klein, after his second DUI arrest a month ago went to rehab. He has decided to stay an additional 30 days, but the question is why do we know this? We know because his "people" released a statement where they said, "Chris, along with his support team, has decided to extend his treatment. He is doing fantastic and is optimistic about his future. He thanks everyone for their continued support." Did anyone actually call his "people" and ask when he was getting out? Do any of you care? I think no one cared and no one wanted to give him a $1M for his story when he gets out of rehab. As far as careers go I would say that he and Lindsay are on about the same level. But, for whatever reason, Lindsay is better known.

Chris was probably hoping to get out this week from rehab and get a cover of a tabloid. With that not happening he can stick it out for another month and wait for his chance. Plus, this way the judge will go easier on him when it comes to the DUI.

Chris Klein Checks Into Rehab

After his second drunk driving arrest, Chris Klein decided he needed some rehab time. Although I am glad he is getting help, I hope while he is there he gets some help for his attitude too. I think the guy is just doing it so he can try and avoid spending any longer than the four days in jail he will have to serve if he is convicted of this DUI arrest. His publicist had this to say about rehab.

"After recent events, Chris was forced to take a clear look at a problem he has been trying to deal with himself for years. He understands now that he can not beat this disease alone. He thanks everyone for their support as he takes all the necessary steps to deal with his addiction and asks for privacy while doing so."

It is interesting to note that the publicist did not mention Chris was going just for alcohol so that kind of leaves the door open that he might be suffering from other substance problems too.

Chris Klein Busted For DUI

One of the least likable guys in Hollywood was arrested early this morning on suspicion of DUI. With his dog in the back seat, Chris Klein decided he wanted to use all the lanes of the 101 freeway this morning. Unfortunately for him there were other cars also trying to drive on the freeway and the California Highway Patrol pulled him over.

Chris failed a field sobriety test and the officers forgot to ask him if he is in fact, the father of Suri Cruise. They should have. I would have. If convicted, Chris would serve a minimum of four days in jail because of his 2004 drunk driving conviction. I guess Chris must have a friend or two because someone came to get his dog while Chris was waiting to be taken in for processing.

Hide Your Children - Chris Klein Is Coming

I am warning you right now. Hide your children. Cover their eyes and ears so they are never exposed to Chris Klein auditioning for Mamma Mia. I'm not sure if Chris Klein was actually on coke or not during this audition, but he certainly seems fascinated with Mandy Moore. No mention of whether Suri is his daughter though. This would have been the time to ask. Note to future casting directors. If Chris Klein shows up looking at you with the crazy eyes, ask him if he is the father.

You almost hope this is fake or some Funny Or Die reject because if this is real, then Chris needs help.
