Random Photos Part Two

A 7 month pregnant Claudia Schiffer. She really doesn't look it.
Apparently this is a picture of Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney going on a date. It looks to me like they are moving or they plan on smuggling a bunch of food out and Jason likes to bring his own hangers for his coat.
Delphic - Stoke On Trent
Jennifer Garner is spending more time with Seraphina.
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel in Switzerland. They look like they are ready for some extreme sports.
Psyching themselves up. Whatever it is it is probably really dangerous.

Katherine Heigl is now a brunette. Here she is with her daughter.
And handing off her daughter and
continuing on her way.

Bachelor Competition For Attention

Did anyone else find it really interesting that almost immediately after the news broke that Jason Mesnick had asked Molly Malaney to marry him that the previously embarrassed Melissa Rycroft made her first wave in the news in months by saying she had found the perfect wedding dress. Seriously had anyone even heard a peep from Melissa since she was on Dancing With The Stars? Me either and then all of a sudden Jason and Molly announce their engagement and Melissa pops up on Good Morning America this morning and says "Look at me. Remember? I'm the one who got dumped on national television and now I have a wedding dress because I am getting married too. Talk about me please." Yes, Jason screwed you over and yes ABC probably did it for ratings but can we move on now? Please.

I'm A Little Confused About This Whole Melissa Rycroft Engagement Thing

Yesterday I saw the news that former Bachelor and DWTS contestant Melissa Rycroft had got engaged over the weekend. Even if you don't watch The Bachelor, I'm sure you remember the controversy about how Melissa thought she was going to marry Jason Mesnick and then he ended up breaking up with her live on television in front of the world. So, then we all felt sorry for Melissa and ABC gave her the spot on Dancing With The Stars and that's that.

Her whole "thing" was that we were supposed to feel sorry for her for getting dumped and that she was truly in love with Jason the ass and that she had her heart broken.

So, when I read that she was engaged, I thought to myself, ok, that's a little fast, but its been five months so I could see it. Then I read more and discover that she and her boyfriend have been dating on and off for over two years and they took a break so she could go on The Bachelor. Ummm. WTF? They took a break so she could go see if she could find a guy to get married to on a television show? What kind of relationship is that? Now, I didn't watch the show but did she tell Jason the ass that she was taking a break from her long term boyfriend to be on the show?

Would that have been something Jason discovered and would lead to him breaking up with her? Immediately after Jason dumped her Melissa got back together with her boyfriend. Meanwhile, in addition to getting her 15 minutes on The Bachelor she picked up $200K for being on DWTS and got a job as a reporter this summer with Good Morning America.

Jason is an ass, but after reading about her engagement I get the feeling that Jason was not long for her as a boyfriend, and that she was using The Bachelor just to get ahead in the world of entertainment.

The Bachelor Must Hate Dancing With The Stars

By next week, I think the whole Bachelor episode would have faded from our collective consciousness. The 24 hour news cycle really wouldn't have allowed it to continue as we would have moved on to other news. Unfortunately for Jason Mesnick, Nancy O'Dell dropped out of Dancing With The Stars, and ABC made the brilliant move to bring on Melissa Rycroft as her replacement. Brilliant for ABC and for ratings, and devastating for the tool known as Jason Mesnick. Now, for as long as Melissa continues to remain on the show, and judging by her performance last night and her popularity with viewers that could be a very long run, Jason Mesnick will have to relive his tool behavior repeatedly each week over the course of the show.

Take for example a review of Melissa's performance yesterday from People. They didn't even bother talking about her scores until the last paragraph. Instead they lead with the fact that she had been screwed over by Jason. Every week, the world will be reminded what an a-hole he is. Thanks ABC.

Bachelor Even A Bigger Jackass Than We Thought

I really didn't think that Bachelor guy Jason Mesnick could be a bigger ass than after what I heard the other day, but I was wrong. It turns out that he can be a bigger ass and that he is indeed setting a fine example for his kid. Melissa Rycroft, who was the jilted woman in this whole scenario was on Ellen today and she set the record straight and that Jason pretty much lied to her from the day the show finished taping right up until the time they taped the After The Rose show.

It seems that Jason was keeping in touch with Molly Malaney and that Melissa caught him one time but that he said he was checking to make sure she was ok and that she was handling the loss ok. At the time she thought that was a very kind thing to do. Of course she didn't know they were probably talking 100 times a day and that he and Molly already had a plan hatched.

Jason, it seems was backing off and backing off from his relationship with Melissa and so she kept asking him if everything was ok and alright with their relationship and he kept saying yes, and that everything was fine.

At one point, Melissa even asked him if there was another woman and he always said no. Even on the day of the taping of the show, she asked him if Molly was involved with anything and Jason said, "no, gosh no." Well first of all who says gosh in a situation like that? Jason apparently kept lying to her all the way until they were walking out on the stage. Just as the camera lights turned on, he leaned over to her and said, "P.S. it is Molly."

F**k me. I would have walked off the stage and let him explain his way out of it, or would have just trashed him constantly during the program and talked about how he was a liar and was cheating on her and just make his life more miserable than a Denise Richards marriage.

The Bachelor Is Still On?

Having never watched more than five minutes total of all the Bachelor and Bachelorette shows I don't really care about the fate of the contestants or the shows. For some reason I thought no one was watching it, but I guess enough people are doing so that Disney can keep rolling out the show that costs about $10 to make and fills up an hour each week of their primetime hours. I remember when the shows first started how all the Bachelors and Bachelorettes became household names. Now, they are not even probably known outside their own household. I would imagine some of their relatives have no idea they are on a tv show because no one watches it. Think Trista and Ryan would be famous if they were on the show today? Hell no. And they sure wouldn't have made any money selling photos to anyone or getting their wedding paid.

So, now there is a rush of promotion for the new season which as usual stars the guy who got dumped last year. I guess they do that so there is a built in audience for the guy and everyone feels sorry for him. I think it is just because Disney is lazy and wants to save the money involved in going out to look for someone.

So, the new guy is Jason Mesnick. Apparently he was crushed when DeAnna Pappas dumped him and he vowed he needed time to heal before dating again. Well apparently the healing process took as long as it took for Disney to send over a new contract. Now, Jason swears he's in love and the show confirms he got engaged. Great. I'm sure he did, and by the time the show finishes so will the relationship. That's how it always goes. So, seriously with the exception of some people in New York who read the site, and the Disney lawyer who sends over the contracts to these contestants, does anyone really watch the show?
