Redmond O'Neal Is Not Poor

Apparently being financially destitute is not one of Redmond O'Neal's traits. Staying alive might be. Would it shock anyone if Redmond O'Neal died of a drug overdose? No, not at all. And if he did, who would stand to get all his money. Hello Dad. Psst. Redmond. Don't let Ryan or Alana Stewart into your house.

Anyway, Radar is reporting that Redmond is footing he bill for Tatum's rehab. $100K worth of rehab. Redmond is not doing too badly for himself. Who knew Charlie's Angels residuals paid so well.

How Did I Miss This?

Look, I understand I miss things sometimes. There is lots of gossip and lots of sources and outlets plus everything everyone tells me and sometimes you can overlook things, but I have no idea how I missed Griffin O'Neal being pulled over by cops after an accident and finding him loaded up with every drug imaginable and carrying a weapon. How did I miss it? Did I have a tequila blackout? It happened the same day as Redmond O'Neal's most recent arrest. I remember that one and remember writing about it, but not Griffin. Apparently Griffin told the police he was rushing from San Diego to Los Angeles because Redmond got arrested.

Griffin was in a head on crash with another driver who is lucky to be alive. Griffin faces six charges, most of them felonies. That is crazy. What is even crazier is the guy was on meth, coke, Xanax and pot. His body must not have known if it was up or down. That is a crazy combination. Half of you wants to sleep and the other half thinks you need to go a million miles an hour. Not sure why he needed a gun either. Anyway, both kids were in court yesterday. Ryan must have been so proud. Probably trying to figure out if he can get them on Celebrity Rehab together. Kind of like a package deal and keep the money for himself.

Does Any Celebrity Actually Go To Jail?

Do you remember back in the day when Robert Downey Jr actually went to jail? Do you remember what happened to him when he got out? Yep, he went clean and sober and had his career take off again. If some judge had just let Robert slide the guy would probably be dead right now and we would be talking about missed opportunities. It seems now though if you have any kind of name you never go to jail. Paris went for a few weeks a few years ago, but a few weeks is nothing. I am talking about getting serious time. Robert is the last one in California I can think of who really got serious time. Even further back in the day Sean Penn got like a month or maybe more when he assaulted a photographer.

In New York they put celebrities in jail. Lil'Wayne, Ja Rule, and others and it appears to work. I am not a throw everyone in jail kind of guy, but I am a treat everyone the same kind of guy. Redmond O'Neal was sentenced to probation yesterday after pleading guilty to drug and gun charges. Those same charges would have got him a year in New York, especially with his past record. Instead, he is free to keep on keeping on. I think it is just a matter of time before he dies either by overdose or suicide. He has no parental supervision, his friends are the ones who enable him and siblings who could help, are more interested in their own careers. Redmond is like at drug arrest 10 or something. I have a hard time believing that one of us would be given the same kind of breaks.

Ryan & Tatum O'Neal Exploit Redmond

Yesterday when Redmond O'Neal appeared in court to face drug and weapon charges, also there were Ryan and Tatum O'Neal. The father and daughter who seem way too cozy for just father and daughter if you know what I mean were front and center and talking to anyone. Now, if you will recall, Ryan generally skipped most of Redmond's previous court appearances, but that was before Ryan had a reality show. Now, of course he will be anywhere he can that will increase his ratings. Tatum? Never been to a Redmond hearing ever. This time? Fake empathy right in front of the cameras. They really do make me sick. This is actually way worse than parentis Lohanis simply because I have no doubts that Ryan will take down anything that is not nailed down to Redmond. I honestly would not be surprised if he is hoping his own child would die so he can cash in. You think there is no way he could have those thoughts? How about the cashing in he did on a dying Farrah and stealing her stuff.

Rule #1 With Drugs In Car

Apparently Redmond O'Neal has never watched an episode of COPS. If he had, then he would know rule #1 when it comes to drugs in your car. If you are going to have them in your car, then you need to obey all traffic rules. Entire seasons of COPS could be filled with idiots who run red lights, or speed and then are pulled over by police. The next thing you know, drugs are being found and people are saying it is not their drugs, but (a) the person they borrowed the car from (when this answer is used, it is typically stolen, not borrowed from a friend which is why they can never remember the friend's name, either first or last; (b) the hooker who was in the car with them when they got busted, which is another popular way to have police stop you and another reason to never combine drugs and hookers which is plainly written on the drugs right next to don't mix with booze; and (c) the drugs belong to the person who used the car last and that person probably did not own the drugs either, but instead see (a) or (b) above.

Yesterday morning, Redmond blew through a red light, the police saw him, and then after giving excuses a-c above, was arrested and charged with a variety of charges all because he had heroin in the car and decided that red lights mean go. Redmond has yet to make bail because his dad is too busy stealing from Farrah and trying to sleep with his daughter.

Ryan O'Neal Making Movie - Exploiting Redmond

Leave it to Ryan O'Neal to figure out a way to make money off his kids. Wait. Actually, it seems like lots of Hollywood parents do that. Ryan just seems to make it all look more sleazy. He has been trying to film a sequel to the Farrah Fawcett show that was so popular right before she died. In this one, Ryan is telling people that it is going to ficus on Farrah but also on Redmond's drug use. Not Ryan's drug use or sharing drugs with Redmond, but solely Redmond's drug use.

Apparently Redmond has caught on to the fact of what an ass his father is and Ryan has been banned from visiting Redmond in rehab because Ryan is not a good influence on him. I think that pretty much sums up all of Ryan's relationships with his kids.
