Chrissy Teigen Quits Twitter

Chrissy Teigen quitting Twitter is probably going to be the equivalent of Alec Baldwin quitting Twitter. It will last about as long as it takes for Chrissy to get over being yelled at online and missing the attention of hundreds of thousands of people and she will be back. Chrissy bailed on Twitter because of some comments she made during and after the shooting in Canada this week. Chrissy said that in Canada it was a crisis but in America it is just a Wednesday. Many people took offense to that. So many in fact that Chrissy tried to explain what she meant but refused to apologize and when she started receiving death threats decided to quit Twitter. Meanwhile, Rosie O'Donnell also came into the fight and supported Chrissy because there is nothing Rosie likes to do more than throw herself in as many confrontations as possible. I think what happened in Canada on Wednesday is awful and that while a nation is in shock and in mourning is not the time to try and be cute or clever like Chrissy was doing and it is not the time to try and have debate on gun control laws in different countries, and especially to try and do it with a 140 character limit. After watching Rosie on The View yesterday, I don't understand why she doesn't do a talk show on MSNBC or something like that and be a talking political head. It would be right up her alley and she can talk about whatever she wants and argue and fight. I think people who tune into The View or The Talk just want some background noise and some light news mixed with celebrities.

Rosie O'Donnell Will Be Leaving The View By January

Something has got to give and apparently the only thing holding back the giving is Rosie O'Donnell. Apparently producers of The View have told Rosie that she needs to start getting along with everyone and falling in line and doing what she is told for that multi-million dollar paycheck or she will be gone. She can quit or she can get fired or she can get on the program because right now the other three View hosts are on board and Rosie needs to accept there is also going to be a younger host coming before the end of the year and they want that host to eventually lead the course of the discussion much like Whoopi does today. Producers also let it slip that they love Rosie Perez but she is not going to get her contract renewed when it ends. The lack of any host training is pretty evident with her and no matter how much they work with her, she can't seem to get the basics down. They do love her and how hard she is trying though and wish the other Rosie would do the same.

Not all that cool is Nick Cannon celebrating his birthday in Vegas.
Russell Brand and Rosie O'Donnell hug it out.
Robert Downey Jr and Robert Duvall in Rome.
Reese Witherspoon in a picture she probably loves from the London premiere of her movie.
Shia LaBeouf makes sure you know this is breast cancer awareness month and you have to give him credit for doing so.

I really wish Tara Reid would buy longer shirts.

Rosie O'Donnell and Nicolle Wallace Already Hate Each Other

It hasn't even been a full week and there are already rumors that Rosie O'Donnell is ready to walk from The View. If it was anyone else I don't think I would believe it because who wants to walk from such an easy high paying gig. This is Rosie we are talking about though and she has had no problems walking away from other gigs including The View so maybe she would. If she is holding out hope that Nicolle Wallace is going to walk away though she is mistaken. Nicolle would have to be fired before she walks. Apparently the two of them fight all the time and Rosie complains about Nicolle all the time. Rosie wants to be the person who does all the speaking. She wants only her view on The View to be the one that people discuss and hates when people argue with her. I'm kind of shocked she doesn't want her own show again and is willing to be on The View where she is just one of four voices.

Rosie O'Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg showed off their weight loss, and that they still dislike each other.

Rosie O'Donnell Headed Back To The View

The producers of The View have had some bad ideas in the past, but bringing back Rosie O'Donnell is one of the worst. They tried this experiment before and it was horrible. Yes, Elisabeth Hasselbeck was on the show and a constant foil for Rosie, but no one wants to spend their mornings watching someone put down every morning. Gone is the Rosie from the early days of her talk show when she was fun and light and people loved her. Now it seems like she always has to be the leader and she has never worked well in a group. A show like this works best when everyone gets along and can banter and keep things light. I am all for discussions that are highly charged but do they have a place when people are getting ready for work? Save it for late night when talking heads try and scare you into watching them and fearing for your life if you walk out the door. This already failed once and a year from now the show will be a disaster and The View will wonder why they have dropped so far from their heights.
