Brooke Mueller Heads Back To Rehab - Gets Ready For Divorce
This has been a busy week for Brooke Mueller. I do wonder if it was her that drove Charlie Sheen's car off the cliff. Don't you think it is really coincidental that the same day the car is discovered at the bottom of the cliff that Brooke says she has relapsed and needs to go back to rehab.
I guess that in home rehab didn't quite work out. I hope her parents or someone is with her that is responsible to watch the kids while she relapsed. Anyway, Brooke is headed back to rehab and all the papers are signed and sealed and waiting to be filed when and if Charlie and Brooke decide to get divorced.
TMZ got the documents and Brooke is scheduled to receive $55,000 a month in child support and almost $2M in cash. $1M of that is her being bought out of the house and the other $1M is for her marital service time. The only thing that really mattered to Brooke was getting more child support than Denise gets. Honestly, I think she should have asked for a lot more child support. She is not going to get any spousal support and Charlie is set to make $52M next year and he is only paying $600K in child support? Sounds low.

Well he can bang that out in a weeks worth of work. Leaves the rest of the year for banging hookers. Compared to what he is going to make that is nothing. It doesn't sound like Brooke will be given anywhere to live either. Who is taking care of the twins? Maybe Irv can do it.
I think Sheen's disappearing cars are beyond strange. I know many think that it's a drug dealer trying to send a message. Maybe. If it is, it's probably Brooke's dealer. Even Charlie can't drug and whore all his money away. He's got the funds for anything and everything. Brooke is probably kept on a much more restrictive budget.
I think Brooke trashing the cars is much more likely. Clearly, this chick is bat-shit crazy or Charlie would have never wanted her in the first place. And only a deeply troubled person would hook up with him and produce children with him.
The fact that the majority of money he will spend will not be on his kids, but on his drugs and hookers, speaks volumes about what a worthless piece of shit he really is! I can just see him calculating how much he will need for his shit and then denise's kids and then brooke's kids and then what he needs to keep living his pathetic lifestyle. criminal!
Does anyone know if child support is taxable? I suppose I could google it but I'm feeling lazy. Is that $55K a month straight up, or is it more like $33K per month. Because I just don't know how anyone could live on only $33K per month. Okay, I jest.
That figure does sound absurdly low considering his income, not to mention the fact that he will probably contribute nothing to raising those children because he'll be knee deep in hookers and blow (and dancing around in piles and piles of cash).
I wish Enty or MK would post Charlie and Brooke's wedding photos again. The ones that look like they were taken at the Sears by the interstate.
It varies state to state, but here in Alabama, the man pays taxes on it and the exwife gets child support and temp alimony free and clear. I'm not sure about permanent alimony.
Brooke needs to get as much money up front. No telling what can happen long-term with his drug use and hooker abuse.
In most states, the person receiving child support does not pay taxes on it. The person receiving alimony or spousal maintenance does pay taxes.
Maybe she isn't asking for spousal support so all the dirt on her doesn't get revealed. But I wonder - how much worse could it be? Those poor kids.

How in the world can $600k a year be considered low by any stretch?! Do you really think those BABIES will receive benefit of $55k/mo?? Living in absolute luxury with a nanny each and al the best schools, clothes, etc. will not cost this much. This is, after all, CHILD SUPPORT, not alimony. And, Enty, supposedly a lawyer, should know that in CA, there is a famous case about child support NOT being totally relative to the income of the paying parent, as it gets capped, when it becomes excessive. Interesting fact: the case is based on Emilio Esteves in the 80s. Also, let's all remember, Charlie is on the hook for this for 18 YEARS; his $52m contract is for 2y. He'll never make that kind of money again, and he still has Denise to pay for 18 years, too. Not to say he's hurting, but those women are beyond set for a very luxurious lives, courtesy of having had babies. Bravo. (Blech)

KLM - last I heard, child support is tax exempt but alimony is taxable income.
i read her rep says she's just getting treatment for 'stress.' yeah right.
driving a car off a cliff is pretty risky and if you were fucked up, it could be even harder to pull off. but hey, who knows? there's something funny going on.
The most amazing thing about this whole sordid saga is that it made me realize two things:
1) We were all pretty shitty a few years ago when Charlie and Denise were divorcing and everyone was ridiculing her for claiming he was addicted to drugs, porn, sex, and the drink. She was telling the truth, and she was vilified for it.
2) His two little girls are luckier than his two little boys, because at this point, Denise is looking like a much, much, much better parent than Brooke.
There was pictures of Denise doing blow on the beach with Richie Sambora after her and Charlie split. If the chick isn't fucked up in the head, Charlie doesn't want to get with her. All those kids are screwed.
Oh and yes, Child support is tax free. That's nation wide I believe.
