It's OK, Eddie Cibrian Doesn't Need A Job
I have given CBS some crap over the past few weeks about giving a big pay raise to a guy who threatens to kill his wife on Christmas Day and paying for that by letting go of women from other shows, but this latest move I fully support. Eddie Cibrian did not have his contract renewed on CSI: Miami which is pretty bad if you think about it. The acting on that particular CSI is laughable so if you can't make it there, where are you going to make it?
Of course, Eddie probably doesn't care. He can be like Mr. Tori Spelling and pretend he is looking for work and acting jobs, but just stay home, spend the wife's money and hope she will be willing to do a reality show so the ladies won't forget him. Plus, with not having to work a regular job Eddie can focus on finding just the right assistant to help him while LeAnn Rimes is on the road. Eddie is also such a classy guy he is probably already trying to parlay this into paying less child support.
The good news for CSI: Miami fans is that Adam Rodriguez is returning so that should make things better. I thought the show was pretty bad last season.

I only watch this show when NOTHING else is on, and the acting is terrible all around, but friends keep trying to tell me it's SUPPOSED to be that way. Cibrian is annoying because his character seems to try to hard to be "dark and tortured", but he's also annoying for all the other reasons we know about, so I also applaud this move :)

I haven't watched this CSI, I used to watch csi:las vegas but when crisom left I did too. BTW, I also didn't know LeAnn was really rich.
I've never watched any of these CSI / "SUV" (Maggie Griffin) shows. Except Cold Case. I don't understand why they are so wildly popular enough for all the spin offs. My parents sure do love them though.
Sorry to say, I watch all the CSIs. I still like the Vegas one best. Anyway, considering everybody in the lab, except for Eric Delko and Horatio Caine were felled by a poisonous substance, I wonder who else got the axe besides Eddie? I'm guessing everybody's contracts were up, so it'll be interesting to see who's left.

The comment about Eddie finding just the right assistant - is that a reveal? I remember there being a blind item a little bit ago (but can't seem to find it)about a woman who should have realized that her husband was sleeping with her assistant.
