Vanilla Ice Has A Reality Show

Vanilla Ice has a reality show and surprisingly it is not about how a guy with no talent still manages to make a living with that same non talent. The guy plays 100 shows a year. Are there really that many people who need to hear Ice Ice Baby live before they die? Is it on the bucket list of people?

Anyway, the show actually sounds interesting. It is on DIY and is about Vanilla flipping homes. I like those kinds of shows and I thought the one Adam Corolla did for TLC was great. Adam actually knew what he was doing and Vanilla says that he has been flipping homes for ten years.

Unlike most shows about flipping, the homes Vanilla Ice flips are usually $1M+ homes in Florida that just also happen to be fixer uppers.

They're promoting the hell out of the show. Every commercial break has an ad for it. It does actually look like it might be good. I bet they're going to have to edit out a ton of f-bombs.

I think it will be a great show.

I can't hate him. I seriously cannot bring myself to even dislike him. I actually hope the show does fairly well.

Nightmare Child, I was at a video shoot for his second single and he was a total asshole! He came out swearing up a storm at everyone, then stomped back to his dressing room. He also has had serious anger management problems. He does seem to have grown up some, but I think he's still a jerk.

I might watch this - I have a hard time hating him, too. He was pretty good on the Surreal Life, and I just read that he switched to a veg diet for his health - sounds like he's made a lot of changes.

Whether he's an ass or not, let's give him props that he's doing a show based on his knack for flipping houses, rather than a reality show as a washed-up has been.

I doubt that I'll ever watch this show, but I like that it is based on the old premise of "You better have a skill/education to fall back on if being a ____ doesn't work." More aspiring actresses/actors/singers/athletes need to heed this message.

I can't hate on him either. At least his new reality show is based on a real life skill (flipping houses) vs. some of the other boring bs (ie. like a dating show, for instance).

I was one of those concert-goers! I spent the whole concert on stage with him. Amazing.

I echo many of you -- nice to see that he has another skill he turned into a career. Especially compared to someone like Screech.

I'll watch. If he finds a problem, yo, he'll solve it.

Sorry, I stole that from elsewhere, and couldn't resist.
