Daniel Craig Calls The Kardashians F**king Idiots - Get Ready Because There Is Another On The Way
If you were ever on the fence about liking Daniel Craig, today is a good day to go ahead and hop right over to Daniel's side. Go ahead. Give him a big hug and say thanks for hating the Kardashians too. In an interview with UK GQ, Daniel talks about selling yourself and then somehow expecting someone to respect your privacy. Pretty much my mantra.
"It's not about being afraid to be public with your emotions or about who you are and what you stand for. But if you sell it off it's gone. You can't buy it back - you can't buy your privacy back. Ooh I want to be alone. F**k you. We've been in your living room. We were at your birth. You filmed it for us and showed us the placenta and now you want some privacy?"
I think in the above sentence he might have been referring to Katie Price. But he was very specific about his hatred for the Kardashians.
"Look at the Kardashians, they're worth millions. I don't think they were that badly off to begin with but now look at them. You see that and you think 'what, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f**king idiot on television and then you'll pay me millions'".
Unfortunately they will. I wonder if the Kardashians enjoy being hated by every celebrity. Oh, and Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant again so, yeah, probably another season of her show.

Don't like him. As an actor he's wood. Not a fan of ANYTHING kardasian, but his nasty assessment ticks me off.
I think he objects more to the fact that they're rich. Takes all kinds.
Haven't seen a Bond film since (the best Bond) Pierce Brosnan, and he should refund everyone for Cowboys and Aliens.

I don't like the Kardashians either but I am sick of people trashtalking them annoying. Even if your saying bad things about them It's still talking about them. Can't we just ignore them till they go away? It worked with Heidi and Spencer so might with them.

I'm with Jessica - the K's couldn't care less about what gossip writers say - but I'll bet they DO care about what celebrities who are bigger than they are say about them. They only WISH they could reach the heights of fame people like Daniel Craig have achieved. It's people like Daniel Craig that the K's might actually pay attention to.
He's so cranky and hot. Best Bond (other than Connery). And look, he managed to talk about privacy and fame without bringing up rape (side eye Depp and Stewart).

I'm ok with anyone trashtalking them because they put themselves out there. They do anything to be noticed so in my opinion, they're fair game to everyone. And I agree with what SusanB wrote, seeing someone who has talent and works (whoring yourself is not work, that's called hustling) slam them hopefully will touch a nerve.

And he is absolutely right. They were very well off to begin with, no matter the drama and sad violins they tried to play, and now that they're in the public eye, making sure that we view every little detail of their personal lives, they're screaming murder.

I think most people hate the Kardashians, but watch them to feel better about their lives. It's kinda like the Jersey Shore, you know it's trash and you can't stand the cast, but it's so bizarre to know that shallow, ridiculous people do exist and make a big drama over the smallest of issues...when there are real serious issues out there. It's petty, catty and escape from reality. This however, is just my opinion. I personally don't watch either show.

Daniel makes a fantastic James Bond. Perfect for revitalizing the series. I love Pierce Brosnan, but his Bond was of the old ilk - the bad puns and the demoralizing female roles were just old and tired.
And I agree with everyone who says to ignore them - it's the krytonite of any famewhore. I mean, I've seen one photo of Paris Hilton lately. Refreshing.

I'm not a Daniel Craig Fan, but if he managed to call out Katie Price and the KarTrashians in one interview, then I can give him a two second tip of my hat. I hope a few more follow his lead. I'm tired of do nothing celebrities that are famous for being famous, get filthy rich off it, then complain when their fifteen minutes are up and they didn't put aside 50% of their ridiculous earnings.
I have a friend who watched Jersey Shore and Kardashians for the trash factor. When I told her that every second she watched was another dollar in their pockets, even if she was laughing at them, she went to her DVR and erased every second of it. She had never made the connection.
Crila, my almost 10 yo's teacher and I were discussing just that at the end of my p/t conference. He loathes Jersey Shore and the Kardashians, but his wife loves the stuff. She finally told him that she knows they're assholes, but watching those shows is how she unwinds after a stressful day.
I recommended American Horror Story to him. Now that's unwinding!
