Holly Robinson Peete Still Doesn't Know Why She Was Fired
Holly Robinson Peete says in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that she still does not know why she was fired from the show The Talk. Two words Holly. Julie Chen. Holly did not kiss enough Julie butt and so she was shown the door so someone could be brought in who would really appreciate some good butt kissing. Julie would probably love to fire everyone on the show, but because Sara Gilbert created the show, Julie is kind of stuck with her. Holly says no one ever sat her down and explained why she would not be returning for the second season. No one spoke to her agents. No one explained to her what she did wrong, if anything. The closest she comes to blaming Julie Chen is when she says, “The main issue with The Talk is when you have somebody who’s in a power position and who can make decisions, there’s not a lot of recourse, there’s not a lot of discussion,” she says. “And so because of that, they can pretty much do what they want.”
Julie Chen better hope that Les Moonves never divorces her or gets fired by CBS because she probably has burned so many bridges she will never work again.

I don't watch the show but Holly has always struck me as kind of dim. She was one of Oprah's faves for a while and she and her husband seemed nice in a bland kind of dim way.
She didn't bother me too much, but I'm SOOOO glad Leah is gone.
Yeah, I don't think Holly is the brightest bulb. I barely watched the show, but she was not that interesting.

How could someone claim to create this show when it's a rip-off of The View?

CBS decided not to renew her contract. She could only sue if there was a breach of contract.
The show is clearly a vehicle for Julie Chen she spent the last 10 years being the most boring host ever for big brother. Her nickname is "chenbot" for a reason.
She must do magic tricks in bed with Les.

I liked Holly and thought she was one of the brighter ones on the show. I think she was fired because she was everything Julie is not and it made her look bad. She was funny, insightful, energetic, and had great stories. Can't stand the show now and won't watch it. Longing for the day when Les is fired and Julie is gone.
I could be wrong but isn't this the second time Enty has used pretty much the same line about Julie burning bridges??? I'd really like him to spill about that!
She's so bland and boring, until i found out who she was married to a few years ago I never understood how she got to where she is.
@Dishilk from what I understand she pulled the same Diva shtick when she was on the Early Show.
As soon as she married Les Moonves it was the Julie Chen show and made a lot of demands and changes.
She only ditched it once she got pregnant and had the golden child to look after. Plus her easy gigs on Big Brother and now the Talk.
She has the personality of a dead fish.
