Today's Blind Items - Kindness

So, this future Hall Of Famer has a celebrity girlfriend, but he still shows he has heart and compassion. A while back, there was a young boy who had cancer. Prognosis was not hopeless, but not great. Being that he was just shy of being a teenager the Make A Wish Foundation granted him his wish to meet the New York Yankees. He did. It was at Yankee stadium, before a game. The Make A Wish people were amazing. He was brought onto the field while the players were warming up for the game. He was told that the players knew why he was there and they would each come over, one by one, talk for a minute or two and pose for a picture. And they did. Our player though did a lot more then that. He stayed and talked for much more then a few minutes. And it wasn't the obligatory "hang in there kid" talk. It was real talk. Joking around, talking about music, movies, baseball etc.. cheerful things.. very authentic. The boy, who has recovered now still has the picture and nothing but love for our player.

Radio Show

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who tuned into the first episode of the radio show on Saturday. For those of you who woke up early and listened live, I know it was reeeeeally early and I appreciate you commenting on Facebook and participating real time with the show. I hope you will continue doing so because the whole idea of the show is to make the site more interactive and it was great seeing that response. Thanks also to those who have downloaded the podcasts. So many of you have e-mailed or posted comments and I appreciate you taking time to listen and to provide your feedback.

Because it was a first effort there were some glitches and Carli and I are going to iron those out. We are working with lots of ideas for formatting and how many guests to have an also trying to make sure we can incorporate you, the listener, or reader into it, and do all of this in what is a very fast two hours. Donal Logue slept in on Saturday, and the blind voice, was a little confused about the time she needed to be ready, but both promise they will be there this Saturday. As the week goes on, I will be telling you more about the guests for this week and we also have some things we are going to try for the first time this week that I hope bring some laughs to the morning.

Because I am so slow on the uptake for the Twitter world, Carli has taken the cause up and started her own Twitter page. I hope you will look her up and start following her and it will be a great way to communicate with her about the show before, during and after.

Here is her Twitter

Also, if you enjoyed what you heard, feel free to e-mail your local radio station and ask them to add us to their lineup. It does not cost them anything and it will also allow more people to listen and participate.

Finally, anyone with some technical knowledge, I would appreciate some help with the uploading to iTunes. I uploaded it on Saturday and they said they received it, but I cannot find it. If you find it or know a better way to search for it, let me know! I did see on the podcast site I chose that there is a button which lets you subscribe to the podcast via iTunes so hopefully that at least works.

Thanks Again!!

Kelsey & Kayte Already Fighting

Everything is always sunshine and roses before the big wedding day. It is after the vows that the real challenge begins. Obviously people usually date for awhile and many of the realities are already known, but in some cases where the goal seems to be getting married as quickly as possible, what is real and what is not real, might not be thought about as much as it should have been. Barely two weeks after the couple got married, Kelsey Grammer and Kayte Walsh are fighting. Kelsey wants to move back to LA to be near his kids and to work on a new project for Starz. Kayte would rather stay in New York and have a continent separating her from Camille. That is probably a wise choice, but she must have known that LA was coming. Kelsey is a television guy and television is primarily done in Los Angeles. The couple have supposedly been fighting about it, but that the 66 year old Kelsey will win and his 29 year old wife will follow. Well, with no prenup, maybe she should just say no and cash in now.

Daniel Craig In Drag

Last night as I was trying to sleep, I watched Daniel Craig in Road To Perdition. This morning I wake up and see Daniel Craig in drag. Quite the polar opposites. Daniel filmed this spot for EQUALS, which is a campaign run by Annie Lennox in support of International Women's Day which is tomorrow. A great cause and Daniel must agree to do this.

Bambi Kid Thought His Mom Was In Trouble

If you ever want me to watch Bambi you better start after the opening credits. I am not interested in seeing Bambi's mom die, and with the re-release of the movie, there is lots of trivia coming out about the film. Donnie Dunagan, who portrayed Bambi was told while he was recording the scene after Bambi's mom died, that his real mom was in trouble. On The View he said, "They said, 'Your mother is in trouble, call for your mother,' and I said, 'Wait a minute, I just saw my mom and she looks fine.' A very astute man behind me said, 'Your mother is in trouble here in the studio; we're gonna put you on the speaker, call for your mother...' I believed she was in trouble."

This is a six year old kid. His mom was in the studio, and then she is gone and the producers id this to him. It is so wrong. The actor worked in movies until he was 12 and then he became a legal orphan after he had a fight with his family. Who does that to their 12 year old kid? You have to wonder if something like that messed him up. He said he does not hold any grudges against the producers.

Tamra Barney Says She Got Roofied

I did not watch Watch What Happens Live last night, but apparently Tamra Barney of Real Housewives - Orange County says she was at a club the other night and that she and some of her fellow OC cast mates got roofied by a fan at a club. She says that a fan walked up to her and to Peggy Tanous and gave them some drinks. The pair drank them and Tamra says that Peggy almost needed to be hospitalized and they were only saved because of Vicki. Not to take any druggings lightly, but this almost sounds like Vicki wanted some positive publicity and that she is not the awful person her soon to be ex has made her out to be. Also, how come they did not report this to the police? Why wait until Andy's show to discuss it? I am skeptical.

That Great American Restaurant Show & Celebrity Apprentice

When my mom told me yesterday she was going to watch Celebrity Apprentice for the first time, I thought I would join her. I had never seen it before either and have seen enough ads for that and the restaurant show that I figured I would give it a look see. I thought my mom was watching because of David Cassidy, but it turns out she is fascinated with Lil Jon. She thinks he is funny and actually likes his music too. Who knew?!?

Lets take a second and talk about the restaurant show. Does anyone remember that show on BBC where the couples all got to have a restaurant and they closed one down each week? I loved that show. Loved it. After seeing the coming attractions for the rest of the season, it looks like this is a copy of that show. Sure, it is fast food as opposed to a sit down place, but who ever owns that other show better be getting some licensing fees or should really sue. Just saying.

Bobby Flay as a host. Hmmm. Not the greatest catch phrase. He looked stiff. The only time he perked up was when the attractive blonde made her presentation. Everyone else wanted to pass, but Bobby quickly jumped on Curtis Stone and said it is a culinary problem. Yeah, he will probably want to fix that with long, late night strategy sessions. I thought the first show was kind of boring and very sweaty. The challenges look similar to the British show, but should be interesting. I thought the best idea was the fixed calorie place or the bite sized BBQ, and the person I want to win is that woman who has Limbo. The devil and good place. Oh, and even as a straight guy, I have to say Curtis Stone is a damn good looking guy.

Celebrity Apprentice - David Cassidy is a whiner. Jose Canseco looks like he has taken drugs, Richard Hatch is an a-hole of biblical proportions and Star Jones has some very rich friends. Who had the idea to put Dionne Warwick on the cash register? I think John Rich, or Lil Jon are the best bets on the guy's side and on the women's side, I say Marlee Matlin will win. How much money do you think Russell Simmons gave?

Real Housewives - Beverly Hills

Multiple sources are now saying that every cast member from Real Housewives - Beverly Hills have signed on the dotted line and are all returning. I have mixed feelings about this. Of course I wanted Camille Grammer back. My mixed feelings are about Kim Richards. Was she really that great on the show? Yes, she provoked Taylor a few times, but if she was not on it, would you miss her? I am just wondering if it would have been more interesting to have Sylvester Stallone's wife on the show. I was never a big fan of Denise Richards being on the show because she has filmed reality television and I don't think she would be real. I think she would be boring. I also feel like maybe after such an explosive first season that they all might try and repeat it and the drama will seem forced.

Believe it or not, Taylor was the last holdout. I know. She says that the show caused her marriage to have trouble. Maybe if she had not been talking smack about her convicted felon husband every five minutes the marriage might not have suffered as bad. Taylor is not giving up the spotlight for anything. I think she just wants people to feel sorry for her.

Paris Hilton Is A Leech

Not content to just exploiting Brooke Mueller for a little money and an attempt at more fame, Paris Hilton has now decided she wants to be on Charlie Sheen's side too. I think. Over the weekend, Paris started tweeting Charlie. Why? Last week she said she had all kinds of evidence that would support Brooke and now she wants to be friends with Charlie. You know what? I think she realized that all of the drugs in Hollywood that are worth doing have ended up at Charlie's house. She would probably love to go over and hang out and score some drugs and then have the paps waiting for her when she leaves because it would be photo worthy.

Paris Tweeted that she has Tigerblood and she is winning and blathered on about how she can't wait to see his show Please. Paris saw the chance to make some headlines and possibly score coke. If she did show up, she would be the kind of person who would spend the entire time doing coke and then try and take some with her before she left.

A Lindsay Lohan Movie That Made Money

Apparently not all is lost in the career of Lindsay Lohan. She has actually made a movie that generated a profit. The thing is, the movie will not even really be seen until tonight and it has already made that profit. What movie? The surveillance tape of her allegedly stealing a necklace. The "victim" in the case sold the tape for $35K to Entertainment Tonight. Considering that Lindsay allegedly stole something worth $2500, then the store made quite the profit off the little movie. I guess you would call it a short. Oh, and silent. When is the last time a silent movie made $35K? Probably some sex tape.

Of course the store selling the tape has kind of screwed the prosecutors and their case, but it was not the best case to begin with. The best part about all of this is the store insists they did not sell the tape for publicity or to make a profit. Uh huh. Then why didn't they give the tape away? Yeah, that is what I thought.

BuzzFoto Blind Item

This little known star on a childrens network just had a hush-hush moment after getting so drunk this week that she threw up on the floor of a local 7-11. It was all made right when mommy manager swooped in and saved her with a stack of twenties in the cashier’s pocket.
