A few years ago, this A+ list mostly movie actress had just been broken up with by this A+ list celebrity. She was flitting around and not doing much when she did an event and ran into this A+ list mostly movie actor. For some reason they rarely crossed paths and when she had crossed paths with him before they had both ignored each other. Shortly after seeing him at this event, she texted him at the number he had given her and within an hour they were in bed together. To him it was just a one time thing and maybe someday down the road if he could not find a model willing to have sex with him, she would be a nice consolation prize. He out her out of his head. She did not though and a short time later they were both at a high profile award show and she followed him around the entire night. Kept trying to ask him questions, and if the show had not been televised, probably would have been way more vocal about her feelings for him. As it was, he thought he had slipped from her grasp and decided to go to an after party. Walks in the door and finds her waiting for him. He tries to get away, but she is on him. Like glue. Does not let go. He did manage to get away at one point when a producer she had to talk to came up and started chatting. Our A+ list actor got out of there and managed to disappear for a year from her radar.
A very important thing happened during that year. They both signed with a company which has forced them to be together once or twice a year. The only reason our actress signed on with the company is because she knew she would get to see the actor a few times a year. The actor was not about to give up all that money to avoid the actress, so he makes the most of it. Once a year, the actor and the actress get together when they do publicity for the company. She would rather it happen everyday, but is ecstatic when she gets that call or text from the actor and would marry the guy even though she says she would never get married. I wonder what she thinks when their night is over with and he goes running off to someone else.

I don't care for the way Cam is being portrayed here. I don't mind the flighty man collector with a strong attachment to men who treat her bad( we all have a type) but I always thought she had more of a sense of humor about it.
Might be that she wants the company bucks AND to screw with Leo's head. Now that would be hysterical.
The company is apparently Tag Heur. They both promote their watches.
GoNY was filmed over 10 years ago. I don't know about you, but I think that counts as paths rarely crossing.

I don't get his appeal either except that he has true power in H'wd and women lose it as they age. Marry someone with it and you become royalty (CZJ, Tom.Hanks' wife forget her name). Fame by association.

Howard Stern said on the air once a friend of his was at a bar and this woman was hitting on him on so hard. But she had bad acne and literally puss was oozing out of her face. He wasn't interested. Someone had to tell him that it was Cam Diaz hitting on him. She looks nothing in person like she does on screen after they putty up her face.

Also GoNY was shelved for about 2 year. When they were filming and even after it was released. Cammie was dating Jared Leto. Which would make sense why she would of ignored him when they first 'crossed paths'.
Agree it is shitty writing. But that's the only explanation I can come up with.
As a girl continually struggling with acne and working hard to maintain clear skin, I don't understand how someone as rich as Cam hasn't been able to get her skin under control. I really find it baffling. Go to a dermatologist ffs!

Not only that, they are actual friends and have done projects on environmental issues together. If they were going to sleep together they'd have done it a long time ago.

I don't buy this blind at all. Cammy and Leo have shared a manager/best friend Rick Yorn for over 15 years. Rick, Leo and Cammy D hang quite a bit.
timebob/V - I run into people all that time that have no idea she has such bad skin. She does a good job covering it up.
@V--it's the heavy makeup they have to wear to hide all their flaws. It doesn't allow skin to breathe and a lot of actresses end up with bad skin as a result. The really plaster that stuff on thick...that is why there are huge contrasts to what a star looks like without makeup.

@Audrey, I know about the makeup trick, I used to do it myself to cover up my blemishes. That said, since I'm pretty certain Cam has a pretty severe case of hormonal acne which is beyond her pores being clogged by makeup. It makes me wonder exactly what her regimen is. But don't get me started, I could go on and on about the subject. I'm a skin care freak.
@V I hear ya, i had cysts into my early twenties. Once a concerned friend thought I had been hit in the face one cyst was so big on the side of my face. Accutane had just come out and my Dr. put me on it. But he put me on it longer than recommended. So I had all the fun side effects like wanting to commit suicide.
People have no idea how hard it is to deal with. And assume you 'just don't wash your face' or 'eat too many potato chips' Meanwhile it has nothing to do with that. Dr.'s still don't know what causes it. Just theories.
@Timebob that sucks! I was on Accutane for about 6 months in my 20's. It did clear up my skin, but oddly enough, I am fairly certain it triggered keloid production of my skin. No suicide though. If only if were as easy as not eating chip or washing my face. Now I do spironolactone (hormonal component) and retin-a and my skin has never looked better.

I also had bad hormonal acne. Ortho Tri-Cyclen and Retin A cleared mine up for the most part. I feel for all of us sufferers. It is awful.
I agree @V that Cam would have some regimen these days to help keep it under control.
There were a lot of solid dishy rumors that Cam hooked up with Fassbender during the final weeks of shooting The Counselor in London. Now THAT'S a hookup worth losing her mind over. Not Leo D.

I have shared an elevator with Cameron Diaz. I can tell you, her skin on that day was perfectly clear, although she was wearing daytime makeup. Regardless, she had the most astonishingly beautiful blue eyes and friendly, sincere energy that even on a bad day she is alluring in person. In fact, I,m not even a fan of hers, but she is one of only 2 stars i've seen in person who surprised me with their beauty. Believe it or not, Tabitha Soren (who is actually a six foot bombshell) was the other!
