I was on a primetime TV show for many years. I think most people under 35 would have been fans of the show although the guy who played our dad is more famous for another role that came after the show ended. I was sexually abused by many people during my stint on the show including executives and one of the smaller role actors. The studio all knew about it (in fact the guys who played my brothers were also molested) but bought our silence. I always felt like that even though I was molested, at least I had money. Well, my parents spent most of it. And I had to spend what was left to pay for my asshole sibling's drug rehab and to fix their f**king problems. All I have to show for it is $8,000 and my family still asks me for money and complains to me about their problems. I turned to opiates to cope and for a few years, it helped me immensely. Now I work a normal 9-5 job and the memories of the sexual abuse is eating me up inside. When I see boys under 12, I think of when I was abused. I hate when people recognize me and want a picture because I remember all those times when a few men would have me pose nude or in speedos or underwear at their Malibu homes. I also hate it when people ask me when there will be a reunion show because it's been 10 years and I want to retort and say "why the fuck would any of us want to do a reunion show when all we have is memories of men sucking our cocks in the dressing room or watching us in the shower or taking us for "special trips" to their homes?" That is why you will never see a reunion show asshole.

This is my guess (sort of) He was pretty troubled. He dropped out of acting at 16 and also, got married to a woman 16 years his senior. He has an older sister that's a model (models are definite rehab material...)

With regard to the dad role - Malcom definitely fits better, but arguably Tim Allen is most known for Buzz Lightyear.
I also met his family once and they didn't seem like a greedy, showbiz family. But, you never know
I need to add, that this makes me so angry. Why can't these predators be brought to justice.

Gonna go with Malcolm. Home Improvement was more than "ten years ago". More like 20. He doesn't say, in the post, that the guy who played their dad and then went on to a more acclaimed role was *involved* he says it was executives (no surprise there) and a "smaller role actor" . So an adult man who guest starred or recurred but who had the power to do something like abuse members of the main cast and get away scot free with it. Some big names guest starred according to IMDB, how long was this smaller role actor around for?

I went back to the original thread and the OP says he gets no residuals because the show is not in re-runs. This would seem to let out Home Improvement and Malcolm as both have been in re-runs previously, and are probably on the air/cable somewhere in the world right now.

That's interesting. Another show that ended about 10 years ago was 7th Heaven. And, I believe it's no longer airing anywhere because of the huge Stephen Collins scandal. But, to the best of my knowledge, 7th Heaven was Collins' biggest hit and he has no other big roles (aside from predator).

This is why I took my 11 year old daughter out of the business just as she was starting to make a name for herself. She was up for her own sitcom and I said, "Enough!" Her agent, everyone threw ---- at me for doing it. I didn't want to see the day when she came home and said, "Mom, I found out what a bj is today."
