This former A- list mostly movie actress has been around forever but she is still just in her early 40’s. She has never been able to match what she did a couple of decades ago because of personal issues and her inner demons. What she has done though is slowly have procedures done to her face over time so it looks like she has never had anything done. She looks amazing and everyone thinks she looks the same as she did two decades ago.

Reality bites.. I don't know why but something about her in that movie made me a lifelong fan.
I love Winona, and feel she got treated too harshly for her, uh, shopping spree. Why is that male actors can be hard drug users ( Robert Downey Jr.) or insane lunatics ( Charlie Sheen) and still make it in Hollywood, but an actress can't?
from my understanding it was sorta on purpose---she hated the media attention beforehand and just wanted to get out of the game

I don't know what Charlie Sheen was like, how he treated people on-set or what his work ethic was. RDJ was beloved by everyone and they just wanted him to get better. He rarely screwed around at work, always on time, prepared, etc. And he has enough charm to hypnotize a snake. Plus there's his talent... And let's not forget, Dutch, RDJ did end up in jail for quite a while.
Not trying to be a bitch here. But I've honestly never understood Winona's appeal.

I saw her in person three years ago and she does look like she has had stuff done. Especially around the eyes.
A lot of people over 45 look fabulous without all that stuff!
Something is wrong with her eyes (they are too wide, so she did something a little drastic there) but the rest of her looks amazing. She did a good job doing it this way.

I can't hate on Winona Ryder either. I loved her in Reality Bites, Edward Scissorhands, Heathers, etc., etc.
She has had a LOT of work done. Early: nose, bilateral upper blepharoplasty (all before 32). Recent work is forehead lift and fillers for cheeks and lips as well as laser work. It's excellent work but it is a LOT of work and she looks quite different than she did when she was younger.. nice to look good, bad to look so different
