DN: I'm pretty sure that the stats are between 1 in 5 to 1 in 4 people nationwide having it--that's 20-25% of the population right there! Throw in the 90-95% of us who have good old herpes simplex (aka cold sore virus), and the cross-pollination between the 2, and, well, we're all screwed... *sigh* Depending on where the lesions are/what acts are performed, condoms may or may not help. It's quite possible this guy didn't know he has it, but he still should have been taking precautions with both girls anyway, the doofus.
Did want to point out, though, that having herpes doesn't automatically mean you're a ho-bag...unless, of course, you're a ho-bag irregardless of STDs. ;-)

No. Tweener just refers to someone who is a teenager, not a celebrity. Notice how he referred to the female as "female tweener star," instead of just female tweener. So I think she's famous and he may/may not be.

My vote is for Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. I think the "tweener" part is just eluding to the fact that they are popular w/ tweens, not that they actually are tweens.

herpes can pass through condoms people. also it's about skin rubbing against skin meaning you can get it by simply rubbing your genitals against another person. basically it's like mono.
My guesses are operating under the concept that a "tweener star" is a star popular with tweeners.

That would leave either Taylor Swift or Vanessa Hudgens. Although the clues point to Vanessa, I really want to think it's Taylor. Dunno why, exactly. It may just be because I think she would be the most trusting and least likely to realize her guy was screwing around.

Vanessa and Zac were my first guess. However, kanonymous makes a good argument for Jamie-Lynn Spears and her baby daddy.
A tWeen is someone from the ages of 10-12 - not quite a kid anymore, not yet a full blown teenager. So I agree that 'tweener star' simply refers to someone who is a star among the tween set, none of the kid celebs today are in the tween age group. The boyfriend may or may not be famous, that one was left fairly open. The fact that we would even think they were monogamous though leads me to think that the guy is also famous (b/c if he wasn't, who would care about their monogamy?)
That said I don't know who it is and I don't think I care. I'm leaning towards one of the Jonas Bros. just b/c of the use of the word monogamous. That is a bit of an odd word to use for some teenagers.
Okay, on second thought I think I'm jumping on the Jamie-Lynn Spears train. Like I said, 'monogamy' is an odd word for a teenage relationship and I was initially thinking "religious?" But it is a word you use for married people or for a couple with kids of their own. 'We' caring about a non-famous boyfriend's infidelity makes sense in this case.
