I think it's far too easy to be Nick/Mariah.
I like the Katharine McPhee I guess but I'm also going to throw out Mary J. Blige as a possibility. She married a no-name producer/manager not too long ago and I wouldn't be surprised if he's still trying to pay off a $500K loan.
My first thought was Nick and Mariah but I don't think she would wear anything under a million. So, I am still thinking.

I agree though Nick and Mariah seem to easy. He was trying out fancy cars right after they married, so I don't think he's still paying the layaway on a ring.

Bossip and Media Take Out are the worst "Black oriented" websites. They are rarely credible and the comment section is terrible. I don't think it's Mariah and Nick. She knows he doesn't have as much money as her and he seems happy to be the kept man.
I don't think it's Mariah and Nick; he has too many credits to his name to be considered "hard up." He may not be a mega millionaire, but I know the kid can easily afford a $500K ring.

it's not marc anthony. he may have 37 kids to feed, but the guy has bangin' bucks (see his ny & miami mansions, along w/ his fleet--yes, fleet--of phantoms and bentleys). he may not be well known in general market, but in latin mkt he is one of the elite-tier 1 artists, has been since the mid-90s. everything he touches turns to gold and sells out, way out. def not him. the debt probs i think you're regerring to, DN, are that a few yrs ago he owed the IRS $2M, but that was due to mgmt error and got taken care of quickly.

It could be Nick and Mariah. I read on the Eonline website that the fiance of celebs. gets 50 to 75% off on the engagement ring.
If he got 75% off for the ring it was cost at least 2 million.
My first thought was also Christina and Jordan Bratman, but then I remembered Nick Cannon and Mariah and how many times I've heard her referred to as a songbird. I'm torn between the two.
I know it's not McPhee. her ring only costs $100k. I just looked it up. I'm going for Aguilera here.
Didn't Nick Canon recycle Mariah's ring? I thought he had given it to his ex-fiancee first, got it back when they broke up, then gave it to Mariah.
