I loved Cameron Diaz and Sandra Bullock's dresses. Why was J-Lo presenting? I was so annoyed to see her. She always does a terrible job, too. How come she keeps getting these gigs? She's just not relevant any more.

ReplyDeleteI know everyone was ick about Charlize's dress but I think she was just having fun and not taking herself to serious. It seemed to me that she was having a sense of humor with the dress. I mean, come on, she KNOWS the rosettes are there!

I didn't like JLo's or Charlize's dresses. Charlize's was ruined by those rose like boob things on the dress. Plus it looked like a wrinkled mess. JLo's might have looked better on someone else.
ReplyDeleteamanda seyfried's dress looks like bubble wrap. i'm not feeling kruger's dress at all. demi's is beautiful and fits her like a glove. charlize should've known people were going to hate this dress. i understand it, but i wouldn't have worn it. cameron---good and anna kendrick---very good. that dress looked beautiful when she walked. soft and floaty.
ReplyDeletecarey mulligan looked amazing! I think they all looked pretty fantastic, Charlize is so beautiful, doesn't matter to me what she wore. Which I'll agree wasn't great, but I don't think it's as awful as everyone has made it out to be.

I know a lot of people are saying they hate Diane Kruger's dress but I actually kinda love it. At least it's different. So many people looked the same last night.
ReplyDeleteI love Deborah Ann Woll, and I think she's great on True Blood, but why exactly was she invited to the oscars? And what the hell was she wearing? Was she in one of the movies that were nominated and I just missed it? Because she's not even a lead on TB so that makes no sense to me...

Loved Amanda Seyfried's dress. I have a feeling it was a better color in person than under those bright lights and flash bulbs.
My husband thought Demi looked bad and too thin.
I was totally annoyed to see J-Lo and Skeletor there, too. Ugh. Maybe they'll go away after her new movie bombs.
I have to say so many of these gowns are BORING. How many strapless gowns are there? If someone took out the Kodak Theater, the known universe would be free of them!

Who the heck is Deborah Ann Woll?
Demi Moore is barely recognizable. Sure she looks (fake) young -- but her face when she was young was much fuller. She doesn't look like the younger version of herself at all. She doesn't look like herself, period. She looks better than most with plastic surgery but she was starting with a much fuller, rounder face to begin with.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone watch the red carpet coverage??? HORRIBLE (interviewers). Why was Christy Brinkley there again? She was SO awkward it was painful to watch. And they ask the STUPIDEST questions.

ReplyDeleteKathy Ireland has hilarious she was so bad. DK's dress was cute. We had the sound off when Demi came on stage and we didn't even know who it was. This was the most feminine Cameron D. has looked in years. Overall the dresses washed most of the ladies out. They were so boring.
