Montana Fishburne Arrested For Prostitution Last Thanksgiving
While the rest of us were thinking of turkey dinners and wondering if anyone would notice if we would sneak some pumpkin pie early, last year on the night before Thanksgiving, Montana Fishburne was arrested for solicitation of prostitution. When I look at the sentence she got I realize it is probably more harsh then what people get for drinking and driving. She got sentenced to 104 hours of picking up garbage, 15 days of community service, an STD class and two years of probation. And that was her first arrest ever.
Last week when this all started, it just seemed like someone who was a little misguided and thought a sex tape was her quickest way to fame. Now as the week has gone by it seems there must be some underlying issues. How does an 18 year old girl from a fairly wealthy family just decide to walk the streets one day? Not doing escort work but actually walking the streets. It also turns out she had made a prior sex tape to the one that is coming out now and the one that is coming out is probably going to be one of the top selling videos from Vivid of all time.
Plus, she got her fame. I just feel sad for her. She probably thinks she is happy, but I wonder if she really is.

A lot of girls who go into prostitution were sexually abused as children. Not accusing anyone, just saying.

Such a shame. Low self esteeem for sure...Its not like she does not have access to money. I just don't understand.
I had assumed that she had fallen in with the wrong crowd since her "boyfriend" apparently worked in porn. I had simply thought that he realized a "celebrity" would mean a big payday and got her, niavely, into it. The prostitution arrest certainly implies more serious issues. While the "wealthy" family sapplies it doesn't mean she has any folding green. Eighteen is really just an allowance and education costs stage.
Well, a recent Blind said a H'wood A-list couple has a daughter they need to physically lock up cuz she's been pregnant three times already and is only just 16, IIRC.
They really know how to raise kids in Tinseltown, don't they?
(Sorry, I love LF and I feel sorry for him, IF he was a good Dad; if we find out he was a shitty Dad, however, then we'll begin to understand where this poor, misguided young woman is coming from...)
I wouldn't imagine he was around all the time, considering how many hours actors work when they are filming.

I don't think she has been living with Lawrence. She's been living with her mother, his ex. He's remarried now. Seems like she's lazy and entitled, maybe got it from her mother. LF would have bought her into Harvard if she had wanted to go. The whole thing sickens me. Like other celebutards with plenty of money but no education and no ambition. Let's see where they are in 20 years.

I don't think so. She announced the release of a sex tape on her father's birthday. This is about revenge, now whether or not he deserves it remains to be seen.

I know I'm just nitpicking, but please check your facts. She is 19, not 18. Trivial, but still.
Maybe she did it for drug money.
The prostitution charge happened LAST year so maybe she was 18 at the time. Regardless, it really doesn't matter.
I think there is more to this story...sounds like all this is a cry for help to me.
The judge forbade her from having sex in public ("exposed to public view" is the phrase) and from charging for sex, in exchange for leniency. Getting paid to have sex in public seems like having FU painted on your fingernails. Weird weird stuff.
