Rosie O'Donnell Wants In On Honey Boo Boo Fame

I think Rosie O'Donnell misses being in everyone's life. I think she is only happy when she has her own television show and has the world focused on her. In Kneepads she gave an interview and says she is a huge fan of Honey Boo Boo. She probably is. Rosie loves her television shows. Rosie then went on to say she wants to buy Honey Boo Boo and her family a house. Not a bad investment really. She can probably get someone to pay for it and Rosie can get herself a special on TLC and then maybe they will be interested in a show about her family and she can get back on the air and make her new wife happy who would love to be on television every week.

a non a miss said...: Kind of OT but not really, I was on facebook and I was looking at a the girls pics of her daughter who resembles Honey Boo Boo and she had one photo of her kid with an unlit cigarette in her mouth! And she was offended that people were pissed and asked her to take the photo down because she could get in trouble with CYS. She said its her child and her decisions and since it wasn't lit, there's no problem. I flagged the photo as inappropiate, I cannot believe how dumb this girl is.; 6:48 AM

warmislandsun said...: I was fooled once, too. I used to like her back in her talk show days. When she started fawning over Tom Cruise, that was red flag number one.

Now I can see she is just another big loud-mouthed woman who needs everyone to see her and hear her all the time. I work with a woman like that, same body type, same loud mouth, and I cringe every time I see her.

Did anyone see her short lived OWN show? I caught a few. In the beginning she starts out telling a story. I was mesmerized. The woman can tell a damn good story. I tuned in for that and then I left when she started the celeb interview. Or singing. She shouldn't sing on tv anymore.; 7:25 AM

I am hoping that this family--among all the families who have been ruined by "reality" TV--is one that survives intact and happy into the future. Along with the Robertsons of Duck Dynasty and Ron, Amy and Bobby from Lizard Lick.

Since now, it seems everyone goes on a reality show with other cast mates, but the real goal is to be the breakout star and have your own spinoff which you star in. Who was the very first breakout star or reality tv? It has to be before Bethanny right? Because I remember being like whoa, that's a BIG deal! Basil said...: @rejectedcarebear. Somewhere in the family archives is a pic of me when I was a baby, wearing oversized sunglasses and a cigarette hanging off of my mouth. It's a cute picture if I do say so myself, so I don't think Rosie is a bad mom just because she set up a pic like that.

As for Honey Boo Boo, I finally relented and watched the first 2 episodes last night. I'm sure it is easy to look down your nose at them and call them trash, but they seem to actually love each other and have fun together and support each other. And they all seem to have a very colourful turn of phrase that makes me laugh. Oh, and I am laughing WITH them, not AT them. Mama June is fabulous!; 9:49 AM

But I feel an MTV cast member on real world or something has to predate that even. All the crazy vh1 dating spinoffs of flava flav were way before Bethenney too, and that started as a spinoff of flav and Bridgitte, which was a spinoff of the surreal life.; 10:08 AM
