Today's Blind Items - The Secret
Want to know what this foreign born B- list all television actress hates more than anything in the world? Her boyfriend. This actress has been on some decent hits in her short career. One after the other it seems. Her most memorable role though is where she met the man who she loves more than anything in the world and who she sees several times each week despite the fact he is married. He is also an actor. He has also got into trouble for cheating. Lots of trouble and because of his status, he can't afford, literally to get caught again. So, he encourages our actress to be with her boyfriend who she can't stand and who really likes her a lot. The problem is that she needs to do something and she didn't always want people to ask her about who she was dating or how come she didn't have a boyfriend so she got one to be able to answer questions easier. The boyfriend though thinks he is the boyfriend and wonders why there is always an excuse for the lack of intimacy. She has no problems when it comes to her married actor though. He got caught before in one of the hugest marital blowups ever and part of the deal he made with his wife was he would not be caught again. She knows about our actress and she is welcome in some of the couple's homes, not just the main family home.

Weird, everyone that comes to mind doesn't fit. Eddie Cibrian. David Letterman. Hugh Grant. Jude Law. David Beckham.
Nichole, that is who I was thinking, but he was caught with Sienna Miller and she would not fit as the women in this blind.

Balthazar Getty and maybe Emily VanCamp (she's from Canada)? They would have met on Brothers and Sisters. She is currently dating her costar on Revenge, but in my opinion have zero chemistry.
@Kendra - I read it as they're not looking for the person he was caught with before (which would be Sienna) but the girlfriend now.

Totally on board with this being Balthazar Getty. He and his wife have an agreement.
I think another clue is the line about he can't afford, literally, to get caught which goes with Balthazar since the reason his wife stayed is most likely because he gave her a lot of money.

Isn't Balthazar super rich from his family? I wonder if he and his wife have some contract or something, as in she will get a huge payout if he's caught again.
Emily Van Camp was in Ring Two...not sure if that counts against her all TV status. She may have been in other movies, too (I'm too lazy to check IMDb) but that's the one I remember her from.

I like Balthazar Getty and Emily VanCamp. He comes from the Getty billionaire family and his family was ready to cut him off during the Sienna debacle. He "literally can't afford" to get caught cheating again.
Although, I'd call Revenge her most memorable role; not Brothers & Sisters, but they fit this blind really well otherwise.

The Getty and Van Camp guess fits nicely, but there is a nagging Boreanaz thorn in my side! I have no clue who the actress would be though.
Boreanaz had an affair with a guest on Bones. (actually, more than one) "I'm the producer, I can make things happen for you..."
This made me think of Camilla Luddington. She was on True Blood, Californication, and now Grey's Anatomy. The guy could be David Duchovny, with his famous cheating scandal with Gillian Anderson. The only thing is he and Tea are separated. If he gets caught cheating, maybe it could affect the divorce settlement.
Emily is a great guess, I like it!
Is EVC's most memorable role Brothers and Sisters?! She was on Everwood for longer and she is the star of Revenge. I would think Revenge would be her most memorable role.
No one else from B&S really fits though, so maybe.
Just a thought though, EVC and Balthazar were on B&S together WHILE he was going through the whole cheating with Sienna thing. This blind sounds like something that started up AFTER the previous cheating scandal. After his cheating scandal, BG and EVC were no longer working together.
I suppose I'd go with the Balthazar and Emily guess except that Emily's boyfriend now, Josh, isn't exactly the passive, take-what-I-can-get type. From what I've heard and read, he's pretty sweet but he's also a guy's guy. One of his best friends from England is Danny Cipriani, the rugby player. Their group of friends has a bit of a rep.
And on Emily's part, wasn't she dating David Annable when she was on B&S? I still think the guy in this blind is Getty but I think the girl is someone else.

For some reason, I read this as Russell Crowe for the actor, with "one of the hugest marital blowups ever" being his affair with Meg Ryan. Was he with his now-wife at that point?
The biggest marital blow-up this century, IMO, was Tiger Woods.
But he doesn't fit any of these clues.

This doesn't say actor is all-TV. The actress may have met the actor at an awards show or charity event.
Actress is being evil to her boyfriend. She's a bad person. She should break up with the boyfriend and find a guy in need of a beard. No harm done, as opposed to deceiving the poor boyfriend.
I don't know if the married actor's wife knows - the welcome in some of the family homes may mean wife is in main house and he sneaks his mistress into the Malibu or New York one.
