Blind Items Revealed

It has been awhile since I had a Kindness to report and I think this one is really wonderful. I would say amazing but then everyone of you would think it was Katie Holmes. No kindnesses from her at all. You would think Kristen Stewart would be out there kindnessing everywhere. Nope. Anyway, this actress is B list. Probably B-, although she has close to A list name recognition. She does movies and television, but pretty much limits herself to one movie role. Oh, and she has been in back to back hits on television. Anyway, our actress actually read something about the homeless in a tabloid or possibly a gossip website ahem and wondered how she could get involved. Apparently there is a real lack of reliable transportation for people who are homeless and searching for jobs. Because of the limited public transportation in LA, the radius for a job search is limited in scope. Our actress heard about this and arranged for 10 vehicles to be bought which not only transport homeless people to job interviews in places they would normally be unable to access, but also to take them to work everyday and pick them up. Our actress also pays a portion of the salary for the drivers of these cars who are also all former homeless people. She has encouraged other members of her show to help out and they have chipped in enough to pay the other salaries and to also contribute to other programs to help homeless people get jobs.

I think doing these kindnesses for ordinary people is what keeps some celebrities sane it that world.
It keeps them connected, I mean. The LA bubble can eat your SOUL. See: KK & Paris, Lilo, etc.
this is very cool. it's always great to see people who are blessed with fortune truly helping others ... instead of peeing in public.
This warms my dead heart so much, people get in a bad place and get stuck in a bad cycle. All they need is a chance to get out of it. Things like a suit or a ride to work seems like nothing to us but to others it's a cliff to climb.
She just seems like such a good person with a nice family. It's nice to see actors just do good things without fanfare.

One thing I really like about this BI -- along with the lovely Claire Danes one -- is that it's such a unique way to help. Most people (including celebrities) would just write a check. But it takes some creativity to come up with an idea like paying for transportation to job interviews or renting apartments for vets' families. Kudos to these two women!

Aww I have always loved her, I wasn't sure I could love her anymore but I do now! I'm glad the rest of the cast helped out as well, they seem like good people.

I think Alyson walks off with most of the scenes as Lily in HIMYM. And she is playing against giants of comedy, NPH in particular, but Jason too. She is genuine B-list; the other folks mentioned so far today are not.
I love AH's character on HIMYM. She and Jason work brilliantly together. She's a very physical actress and is great teamed up with Jason.
I can't figure out the ratings. I know Alyson H's name, her marital status, that her kids are adorable, and that she is very, very talented. She's part of an ensemble cast on a very hit show that I love. She's a B- and so is the woman from Smallville I never heard of? Sorry. Not buying the ratings.
Bless AH if this blind is true. Getting to a job interview or showing up on time is way too difficult in LA and many other cities where you need a car.
But bless AH for doing something about it.
This one time - at band camp - Alyson Hannigan totally rocked my world be being a great person.

Jamie 2, I couldn't agree more. The law of Karma baby! The douche ones Penn and Sheen I'm lookin at you, seem to get regarded as such. And the good ones, have their goodness shine through too. I now LOVE AH. I just want to pinch her (facial) cheek. HIMYM: She always steals the show with her perkiness, delivery, expression, and imo, raises the bar for everyone else to keep up with her. Enty hinted that she reads this site, I may have read it wrong, but that's how it looked. Made me think " Eep! I wonder how many other celebs read this site, and may even read our comments about them. (cue twilight zone music....) doo doo doo dooooo.....
I take the dark BIs with a grain (or whole shaker) of salt, but readily believe the kindnesses. This is really awesome and it doesn't surprise me at all, AH seems like such a sweet, genuine person. Nothing but love for her here!
