This B-/C+ list actress who is mostly movies, but has not done really anything in a long time other than Broadway has several offers for movies, but would all require nudity. She is on the fence, but it would be the largest single movie paycheck she has ever received and is really desperate for the attention it would bring.

She doesn't need it anymore. Now has a movie just released, two in post production and one more in the works. Plus, potential for a new tv series if her pilot gets picked up.

Miss Meadows is getting some good reviews, for a small indie film. And Katie's performance is getting great reviews.
Pisses me off that producers want female nudity. And girl on girl action but not boy on boy.
I wasn't aware that Katie had ever even gone topless on the screen. Must have missed that. She is a pretty decent actress, though, particularly in comedic parts that are just a bit understated.

Not sure Texas, but none of the roles would have given her a "huge paycheck". The only one that's not a small indie is "The Giver", and it doesn't look like her role is huge in it.

Exactly Ms. Girl and sure there is some male nudity (Thank you VIP!) but overwhelmingly it's women showing their who ha and other bits.
Men and women react to erotic stimuli differently. It's biology, not some gender insult. Men are mostly visual while women look at the context, so a romantic montage (a couple laughing together, walking in the park feeding ducks, sharing food, etc..) is for the women in the audience what a nude scene is for the men in the audience. You can't fight basic biology. The Victorians tried shaming humans out of their lust & left us a century of Freudianism silliness.

I respect Katie for escaping the clutches of Mad Dwarf and the CO$ crew. And for taking her daughter away from it too, completely. I can't hate on her.

If she is so desperate for a huge paycheck and attention she should just marry another famous A-lister again. I doubt her 'craft' would ever get her there alone.
In "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle" they have two friends whose night is planned around watching that movie where Katie Holmes shows up topless.
Just like everyone else has said, Katie has been topless in movies before.
