She kept it together long enough to sing her piece. She could not have performed like she did wasted. I hope she gets her shit together. She's got too much talent to waste.
Poor thing. Didn't we think she might've had a miscarriage? If so, I can see her getting slam wasted to block the pain. Coupled with knowing her man is a cheater...
And I'm not a Gaga fan, per se.
But her singing last night was FAR beyond any other singing performance I've seen on live TV, possibly ever. (Even if it was backing-tracked).
I've always said she is much more talented than Madonna, and that performance just blew any further comparisons out of the water.

Loved her performance last night, thought it was strange that her BF couldn't make it. She said he had to get up for work today, but the Oscars ended at 9pm Pacific Time last night, not exactly late.
Gaga. I was prepared to hate her performance. She turns me off on so many levels - the grandstanding and stupid outfits. Is she that unconfident, that she doesn't trust her talent? I saw talent in this performance, because I wasn't so turned off and distracted by costumes and props. Wow - what a great voice! But if she starts that monster crap up again and continues with the stupid costumes, I won't watch her again. I think she is sabotaging her career by doing all that crap. Her voice is good enough to stand on its own.

Gaga is such a great covers singer. In fact her whole career was about covering someone one way or another. She should stick to Broadway musicals, she's not a good popstar, she cannot craft a good song, that's something that is evident after 4 albums of noise.
She's an addict because she grew up really really wealthy and protected and she can't take the pressure and she must try to fit in her PR lies truth is she's a super wealthy woman from CPW whose daddy paid for all this (he gets 50% of her earnings, it's not because she's charitable, he's a millionaire, it's an investment).
As for Perez, it was a PR stunt from the beginning just like the uncoupling of Paltrow.
