Blind Item #9
This foreign born A list mostly movie actor who is a multiple Academy Award winner/nominee finally let his dark side open up on a recent flight. Not only did he make his wife sit in coach while he sat in First Class he also left her behind at the airport and checked into a hotel alone and would not let his wife stay with him. She was forced to fly back home.

Redmayne
nope---only nominated once
Christian Bale
maybe...I am trying to find someone that is at Sundance but nothing fits
It does sound like something Bale would do.
+1 for the Bale guess...
although we saw his dark side when they leaked the audio of him yelling at someone on theDark Knight set
Christian Bale has shown his dark-side plenty
Dark side = Dark Knight (Batman)
Lucky for him he's such a great actor so he can get away w/it.
I agree---and he is very dedicated to his craft
It prob wasn't even close to his best performance, yet he blew me away in The Big Short. So method.
Bale's delusional stans will claim that this must be a Method thing instead of mistreatment.
Christophe Waltz...known to be super nice, yet his roles have the darkness /edge within that might lend itself to description.
Plus, I don't think he has a dark side. He seems like a genuinely nice guy.
Think this has to be someone unexpected, "...finally let his dark side open up..." Cumberbatch is filming Dr. Strange in multiple countries (not sure about Sundance). He always seems like such a good guy, (helping Syrian refugees, etc.). Hope it's not him, but he fits.
Kenneth Branagh
Hugh Jackman is made of sunshine, rainbows and unicorns, so please do not ever besmirch that man's reputation. He is a national treasure (yes, I am aware he is Australian, and fuck that)
She couldn't stay in his hotel room so she had to fly back home?? Something a little fishy with this story.
Redmayne is not multiple, I don't think.
+1 Christophe waltz guess.
There's somthing overly sacharrin about him.
No he doesn't. He's only been nominated once.

I'll cosign this.
@HH314, Thank you!
Sean Connery?
Whoever he is his wife should leave his nasty a$$.
Blech.

Sadly. Love him but I think he's probably a complete jerk.
Enty usually counts BAFTA's, and there are a few here (Wiki): Cumberbatch has received numerous awards and nominations for acting including two Laurence Olivier Award nominations, winning Best Actor in a Play for Frankenstein. He has also received three Primetime Emmy Award nominations, winning Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie for Sherlock. His portrayal of Alan Turing in The Imitation Game earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. In addition, he has received six British Academy of Film and Television Arts nominations, five Screen Actors Guild Award nominations and two Golden Globe Award nominations among others. In 2014, Time magazine included him in its annual Time 100 as one of the "Most Influential People in the World". He was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) by Queen Elizabeth II in June 2015 for his services to the performing arts and to charity.
