This closeted Academy Award winning/nominated A list actor is making most of his money right now in almost television. He thinks he is hip and cool and because of that gets barely legal guys to date him. Nope. it is because he either promises them roles or gives them money, same as usual.

gay guys are weird...when I was 19/20 I would get harassed by guys Kevins age. Now that I am 31-they ignore but I get hit on by 19/20 yr olds. I like people MY AGE but feel like a minority?!

A few years back, my Dentist and I were discussing actors and singers and I mentioned how much I loved Kevin Spacey. He turned toward me white in the face. "That is ONE actor we DO NOT mention in this office! Nothing personal. Just don't bring his name up again." Wow! So totally out of character for this usually cheerful and funny guy. A few appointments later he apologized for going off that day but confided that his son (an aspiring actor) had met him at an event and Kevin put the moves on his in not a subtle way. I think his son was 19 at the time. Came home totally disillusioned about Spacey and that show biz crowd. Sad.

What's so awful about getting hit on at a party? He was "disillusioned"? What, he thought that no one in Hollywood tried to have sex with anyone younger? Sad? Give me a break.
What's so awful? Really? He was a young man who was supremely naive. Raised in a super religious Jewish family, was not and is not gay, thought the absolute world of Kevin Spacey. Was just entering college to study theatre at NYU. Was invited to a party (large) by one of his older friends. Kevin was there. Saw something he liked and made a beeline for this young man. His father, my dentist, would not tell me what happened, but his son left the party and came home. If this was an 18 year old girl this happened to, would you still say give me a break? The kid was very sheltered. Obviously, this was a life lesson for him to understand this is how the real world is. Your parents and community can shelter you just so long and then you have to grow up.
If he were an 18 year old female I would say EXACTLY the same thing. 18 is an adult. That is pretty ridiculously naive, and if his parents didn't tell him what parties are like, they didn't prepare him for the world. It's not just Hollywood parties; an 18 year old at a party anywhere is likely to be hit on by older people. If Spacey tried to force him? Yes, that would be horrific. But getting hit on? That is to be expected. My brother is straight, but for some reason has been hit on by gay guys since he was a teen. He just laughs it off, says "thanks, but not interested."
