Filming is wrapping soon and these two Oscar winners still haven't spoken to each other outside of their acting roles. A couple of scenes had to be rewritten just to keep them away from each other.

I don't blame Cate for hating Anne.
Anne had to have known something about that fraudster "Italian" boyfriend she had who swindled so much from so many celebrities.
Out of the 2 Cate definitely seems like the cool chick/straightshooter.always liked her. AnnE just seems too much like the character in Devil Wears Prada after she turns into an a hole:(
Agree David and Tricia. Something doesn't feel real about Anne. Lainey wrote about these two and said the media-reported tension is likely untrue.

Wow. Disagree. Cate showed she was an absolute bitch during her Oscar campaign back a couple of years ago. She attacked everybody and then claimed it was her "Aussie sense of humor". Nothing like a sore winner. She had a publicist working overtime trying to cover up. Among the people she trashed was Sandra Bullock so if Sandra agreed for her to be in the film, Sandy's a very nice and forgiving person.

I have zero interest in another 'ocean' movie..there should've been a formal retirement after the dreadful 13...I don't care if they all fight, but am sure it's assumed they are because of all the estrogen..yeah, right..

And I didn't even recognize Blanchette, who is usually very glamorous, not trying to look like a girl in Middle School.

Most significant others don't get that involved in their bf/gf's businesses.
I'm no AnnE fan and have always liked Cate, but I'm a bit suspicious of the character of a grown woman who can't or won't let go of anything and makes a point of people knowing about it.
Yes, it was a bad thing, but it AnnE wasn't charged and Cate is not destitute. She knew AnnE was in the film. A great way to avoid someone is by not working with them.
When is it time to move on like an adult? Seems like they deserve each other.

This is such a nonstory. You have a movie starring many A list actresses in one film/who happen to all be extremely successful in their own right. What would an Australian publication (spewing the gossip) know anything about a New York set? Not even Page Six or NY Times Magazine claims this. I hate misogynistic Hollywood!
Aren't good casting directors supposed to know about this kind of stuff??
