It wasn't that long ago that this former A list singer and number one movie star turned celebrity was doing an intervention for her sister. Now it is the turn of our former A lister. She needs help. She is a mess and her marriage is even worse. It is night time soap opera worthy.

I agree....but number one movie star??! Hahahaha
I think that is sarcasm relating to one of her bomb movies being a big hit was it it Russia? Someone correct me on the country, if necessary.
I guess since "Dukes of Hazard" debuted at #1 the week of its release she gets to attach that to her name.
Maybe they mean she is the number one person who converted herself from a *movie star* to a *celebrity*. Jessica Alba and maybe Gwyneth Paltrow being the other two that come to mind as transitioning away from acting, but remaining somewhat on the *celebrity* radar. Or maybe it's just BS, as suggested.
