The good news for RHNY star LuAnn de Lesseps is she does not have the shortest celebrity marriage on record. She could have though. I mean the whole world knew she was being cheated on but she stuck it out. When you are answering divorce questions during your honeymoon, you know it is trouble. Finally, today in a Tweet she said the marriage was over. She probably figured after that episode this week, which might have been the best RHNY episode ever, a divorce announcement would fit right with it.

IMHO this whole relationship was a publicity stunt by both of them. Stay in the news and 'reality tv' relevant can only help. He clearly likes the womanizing rep and will actually help him get more tail (a lot of idiots out there) and she gets to stay on RHNYC to endure a season of 'I told u so' but also sympathy. She has thick skin and now she can get back to her own hound dogging. Did she forget that in RHNYC there are actually no 'wives'?No other explanation.

this is damn sad....she would rather be with a scumbag than be alone...so many older women dont want to be alone, so they settle for any man thats breathing. luann looks great for her age, she should be able to land a non-scumbag. too bad, desperation makes you make terrible mistakes

Honestly I think Luann was in on it. Seems like a ploy to create a story-line. Now everyone will be nice to her out of pity.
Next season should be good. Can't wait to hear her "poor me" bullshit story.
