Amanda Bynes
Poor Amanda....don't name your girl Amanda!
All Amandas I know are misreble!
That poor girl has been through enough. I hope she can maintain her equilibrium with life's ups and downs.
Amanda
I don’t trust Bynes parents. I wish she had a support system that genuinely cared about her. Amanda, girl, if you’re reading this SO many ppl are rooting for you & your recovery & triump. Don’t give up! This struggle might inform your future in a way that lets you help those who have dealt w/what u fight everyday. Your journey & survival can save others like you. Don’t give up girl, keep fighting.
In my personal experience with my adult child, mental health issues don't just go away.
And, I don't foresee a "cure" either.
Drugs and "Tough Love" don't work.
Amanda and her parents need to learn to deal with each other in order for her life to be functional.
And, therapy does help to keep "them" centered.
As reddit would say - Everyone Sucks Here
Yeah her parents sound super dubious but nobody getting a face tattoo should be allowed to marry someone they just met in rehab - that's a no.
@Hunter the problem many famous people have is that they don't have enough friends and family who can and will, call them out on stupid stuff. They get weeded out, and those who remain are on the payroll one way or another.
Bynes isn't going to act in a big hit again. That window has closed, and she's better for it. She went to fashion school, I hope her second act is in the sphere. If she's good, she could be a Wardrobe stylist Key in film and TV. Well paid, respected. And with her connections she could work A list movies, maybe even win an Oscar at it- if she were ever nominated she'd win. Even with all her struggles, she has advantages that others would kill for, if she chooses to take advantage of them. And this goes for LiLo too.
in her instagram story she said the hearing with a judge is because the therapist her parents her making her see is costing her $5k a month out of her own pocket and she thinks she should be able to see one covered by her insurance provider
I see someone else frequents "Am I The Asshole?" I do feel bad for Amanda. I don't think she ever really had a chance.
Yes, David
Tough love definitely does not work!
I always wanted to name my kid amanda:-\ now i'm seriously rethinking that
