You would think this cult's fear of investigations investigations would be over with this administration given the prominent members associated with it and a top official who has always had the back of the cult.  You'd be wrong. The leader has apparently become increasingly paranoid, and one of the big reasons he's increasingly spent his time in the southern state rather than any other cult location is that they had well-oiled plans to get him to Venezuela where they had an in with the government should they get word of any imminent raid or arrests. That option is gone, and they are struggling with alternate plans. For now, he would simply hide out stateside as the founder did in his later years.
