Today's Blind Items - The Job Opportunity

This actor who is about to star in a new show this fall had a brief stint in the writer's room. For background, he was once offered a very unfortunate real-life job when he returned to his hometown in as a recent graduate. This job offer then became the basis for his character in an indie film he acted in. This job was the only directing job he was offered (outside of offers almost a decade later to direct a few television episodes), and it was part of the booming industry his hometown is known for. However, it was an incredibly unfortunate role, as he would have been directing one-handed workout videos. Luckily, he got offered an acting job with a director he had previously interned for and left to Italy that September after he graduated. It is rumored that this inopportune job opportunity also inspired a scene for his upcoming show.
