Today's Blind Items - The Death Toll

Back in the day, the A++ list doctor was doing the same thing that he was doing today. And just like today, last time a lot of people died all because he was an idiot. Back then he said that the chances of getting AIDS from a blood transfusion are less than the chances of getting the wrong blood type because of a clerical error. In fact, one of his team said that you would be more likely to die of an earthquake than getting AIDS from a blood transfusion. Tell that to the 30,000+ people who died of AIDS, usually within six months, of getting a blood transfusion from an infected person. Idiot.
