Blind Item #5
This foreign-born actor/musician, who has been the fancast king of two major properties for years, put his foot down on the Amazon toy-centric reboot from this year. He saved most of the cast from having to get chummy with the real-life villain who played the bony antagonist. They've done this dance before, regarding another movie. When the foreign-born actor/musician replaced the original lead in the sequel to The Other Comic Book Monopoly's villain-led property several years ago, he laid down the law. He made it clear he wasn't going to put up with any of the infamously obnoxious antics that happened on the set of the first film in the comic franchise. (The abuse history made it a non-starter, too.) This is part of the reason why the second actor got cut from that film, despite his huge role in the first one. All of that carried into this year's release and empowered some of the cast members who would have had a harder time comfortably distancing themselves.
