Alfonso Ribeiro Says His Wife Is Pregnant And Someone Is Kicked Off DWTS

Apparently there is no score low enough for Michael Waltrip to actually be kicked off. After scoring a 20 which is lower than the numbers Kate Gosselin used to come out every week with, the NASCAR driver/team owner manages to stick around every week. I'm not sure how he does it. I know there are probably NASCAR fans who watch the show, but are they just going to vote for him mindlessly? The guy got a 20. During the show, Alfonso Ribeiro took the chance to tell the world that he and his wife are expecting a baby and he will be expecting a reality show from ABC in the very near future. In the end, the person kicked off the show this week was Antonio Sabato Jr and his partner Cheryl Burke who is now leaving the show but not under her own terms. She would stay forever if they would have her, but the producers want younger and she is the person they have had in their sights for a long time. 

Lowest Score Doesn't Mean You Go Home On DWTS

The lowest score really meant nothing last night on DWTS as several couples scored as low or lower than the person who was ultimately kicked off. I think last night's surprise to me was that Janel Parrish realized that maybe she is not the only woman in Val's life and danced like it. Before they took a week off to dance with other partners they were all over each other and the dancing was great but during their week apart, she probably heard some things from another pro who would also like to hook up with her and the mojo between Val and Janel was ruined or took a big hit.

When all was said and done on a week that had Leah Remini and Pitbull sitting in, it was Mean Girls star Jonathan Bennett get kicked off the show with his pro partner. They actually got a score of 32, and there were a few other teams who got 28 and others who also scored 32, but, the audience doesn't know who the guy is so his stay was always going to be short lived. You can get away with not being known if you are a good dancer. if you are a good dancer and known to the people who watch the show, you are going to go a long way. 

The Carlton Returns And Someone Sent Packing On DWTS

I'm still not sold on this whole east coast voting thing. If you are on the west coast or even in the Mountain time zone you get no say in who is eliminated on Dancing With The Stars so that gives some people an excuse to not watch. Part of the sucking in process to a show like this is having the viewers invested in their choice. The whole dance and eliminate someone the same night kind of ruins that. Someone on the west coast will actually know who is eliminated before anyone even starts dancing. The great thing about last night was the return of The Carlton. You knew it was coming when a Tom Jones song started playing. The wait was worth it because it will probably be the only thing people remember about the season. D listers come and go, but The Carlton will be around forever. Despite being horrific every week at dancing, somehow Michael Waltrip continues to remain on the show and this week it was Betsey Johnson who was eliminated. One thing that must be troubling Derek Hough is that he usually picks the person with the best chance at winning but his scores with Bethany Mota have not been all that great.

Latest Star To Be Eliminated On DWTS Blames The Producers

Another week has gone by and another celebrity got eliminated from Dancing With The Stars. Kind of surprising to me was that it was not Michael Waltrip who got eliminated. He had the lowest score and has looked awful dancing every week but I think he must have some NASCAR fans calling in enough times to keep saving him. The person eliminated was Tavis Smiley who did get the second lowest score on Monday night. After being eliminated he blamed the producers because he didn't have enough practice time. He said that producers would never have signed him up since they knew he was going to be on a book tour and have limited time to practice. Umm, if he knew he was going on a book tour he should never have agreed to do the show. He is the one who had to sign. You know he signed up so he could help sell copies of his book and he probably did more for the book then a book tour. He probably made more money for his brief appearance than his book sales too. 

The First Person Voted Off Dancing With The Stars

If you really want a nice big paycheck and not much work to do, then sign up for Dancing With The Stars and be voted off in the first week. I was actually kind of shocked with the results because I thought for sure that Betsey Johnson would be voted off first. The designer had a show at Fashion Week and probably didn't have much tome to rehearse and it showed during the performance on Monday. However, she managed to hang on for another week. In the end, the person voted off was Lolo Jones who was not a big hit with the judges or fans who criticized her for not taking things seriously and she seemed like she had never practiced even though her first time partner said they practiced 4 hours a day for nearly a month. It didn't show.

Dancing With The Stars Cast Announced

At this point in the life of the show, I think the best part of the show is finding out who is actually going to be on the show. You would think at some point the producers would run out of names, but they just keep churning out reality stars and D listers and now have even added a YouTube star to try and get people under the age of 65 to watch the show. Of course, to give the over 65 crowd someone to watch, they have Antonio Sabato Jr., who has not even been on television since most of that age group was in their 20's. Seriously, it has been a looong time since he was relevant. This will probably be his biggest paycheck in more than a decade. Since Derek Hough gets first pick, he probably thinks he has the winning combination. Any ideas on who would get second? Maybe Janel Parrish (above)? Anyway, here is the cast.

Dancing With The Stars Adds Fourth Judge

Remember when American Idol tinkered with its three judge panel and decided to add a fourth? Well, Kara DioGuardi remembers and thanks the producers for her million bucks. The idea was a disaster and it was that season which really marked the start of decline for the show and has never recovered. It was the season the producers decided that judges were more important than talent, forgetting of course the original lineup of the show had two relative unknowns and a has been. All you do when you spend $45M on judges like Idol is have $45M less to give yourself because the same number of people are going to watch regardless of who is judging. They are too scared to give it a chance though.

Anyway, Dancing With The Stars has added a fourth judge and it is Julianne Hough. With none of the projects she left the show for actually doing any good and with the prospects of getting any gig that requires her to work less and that pays more than DWTS doubtful, Julianne will be a judge and Maksim is probably thrilled he left the show. Julianne will not recuse herself when it comes to Derek's scores, but will spontaneously run over and dance with him after every routine and of course pick out random women in the audience for him to have sex with after the show.
