Remember when American Idol tinkered with its three judge panel and decided to add a fourth? Well, Kara DioGuardi remembers and thanks the producers for her million bucks. The idea was a disaster and it was that season which really marked the start of decline for the show and has never recovered. It was the season the producers decided that judges were more important than talent, forgetting of course the original lineup of the show had two relative unknowns and a has been. All you do when you spend $45M on judges like Idol is have $45M less to give yourself because the same number of people are going to watch regardless of who is judging. They are too scared to give it a chance though.
Anyway, Dancing With The Stars has added a fourth judge and it is Julianne Hough. With none of the projects she left the show for actually doing any good and with the prospects of getting any gig that requires her to work less and that pays more than DWTS doubtful, Julianne will be a judge and Maksim is probably thrilled he left the show. Julianne will not recuse herself when it comes to Derek's scores, but will spontaneously run over and dance with him after every routine and of course pick out random women in the audience for him to have sex with after the show.

I don't think four judges work for this kind of show. There isn't enough time for anything more than rushed comments. It ends up being a choppy mess.

Watch Kirstie Alley tweet something cryptic about Karma. Maksim has got to be pi**ed, he wanted that judge position, I mean where else is he going to get that kind of publicity. Following J-Lo around is only going to go so far, it won't make him look independent.
Can't have a suppressive person like Maksim on your show. Xenu would not approve.
I think that Maksim is better qualified to be a judge than Julianne. And yeah it's high school writing class Enty on this post.
I agree with Sherry. Maks would have been a better judge. Julianne? Seeing her shill for Proactiv makes me feel bad for the brand as I had some connection to it.

her dance tour was brief but from what i saw, she was pretty good and its evident she enjoys dancing as a gig, so i think she fits in with the judges.

How can people in such high positions be so fucking stupid? Unless Julianne sits in her judge's chair like Mork (face down/ass up) no one will care. Who wants to see her face and be forced to suffer through her opinions? Her draw is that ass, floating across a dance floor in skimpy little outfits. All listening to her speak is gonna do is ruin boners.
