Angelina Jolie To Adopt A Child With Her Brother

Only on a slow news day would I even think about talking about this. The National Enquirer is reporting that Angelina Jolie wants to adopt a baby with her brother James Haven. Uh huh. Actually how they phrase it is that she wants her brother to adopt the child because Brad won't let her adopt any babies for a year. So, the plan is for James to adopt the baby and then Angelina will be a co-parent.

Supposedly this plan has infuriated Brad. At this point I think basically every article written about the couple says they are going to break up and that the couple is not getting along and blah blah blah. I don't really care. I would ban them, but basically it feels like I am banning every celebrity and am running out of people to talk about, so unfortunately I need to let them stay. I think tabloids keep saying they are going to break up or that trouble is brewing because they want to say they were the first to report the break up. Plus, there is no drama or magazine sales when you have a headline that says Angelina and Brad still married.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if an article comes out and says that Angelina and Billy Bob are going to adopt a child together or that Angelina and Jen are going to adopt a child together to try and repair their friendship. The possibilities are endless. I do think they would draw the line at saying James and Angelina would have a child together biologically though. Maybe.

He's Back

Angelina Jolie's brother James Haven showed up last night at the premiere of her new movie Beowulf. All I remember about Beowulf is having to read it in high school and that it may have been in Old English or something similar because I recall that the plot sounded great, but had no relation to the actual words I was reading. Although I guess Hollywood should be congratulated for not making interminable Bratz sequels, I just hope they don't start making movies based on books from high school. The only thing they do is to reawaken nightmares, and give a new generation of high school students a more modern update of a film to watch instead of reading the book.

I remember when we had to read Romeo & Juliet, the class got to see the movie. It was some 1960's version, but it had a bare breast in it and the teacher had to go through ten layers of bureaucracy to be able to show it. But show it she did, and there wasn't an empty seat in the class. Now everyone has to watch that Claire Danes version and falls asleep quicker than if they were just going to read the damn book.

Anyway, I digress. It seems as if Angelina's tongue kissing brother knows all about when Angelina is going to get pregnant, her menstrual and ovulation cycle and is also full knowledgeable about how Angelina and Brad Pitt keep alive the spark of sex in their marriage.

So, for all of you women out there who have brothers. You keeping him in the loop about when your time of the month is or when you can have a baby or what you do to get your man aroused? Didn't think so. Angelina's brother just gives me the heebie jeebies. He is like the guy that is always sneaking up behind you or sidling up to you and then asking what you are doing. He inevitably scares the crap out of you which encourages more of the behavior.

It seems as if James has been ingratiating himself with Brad as well. No doubt he would like to watch and maybe thinks this will help. "We get along great," Haven said, "We talk about movies, we talk about bikes ... kids obviously are a major topic, so it's great. You know, I'm looking forward one day to maybe working with him."

Working with him? How? Holding the sister down for him? He barely even works at all, yet he is looking forward to working with Brad. Well, I guess if Angelina tells Brad to put the brother in a movie, he will do it. In fact, maybe that hint is his way of telling Angelina to do it. I'm sure she would have said so herself, but she and her brother were too busy staring at each other.
