LuAnn De Lesseps Divorcing After Seven Months

The good news for RHNY star LuAnn de Lesseps is she does not have the shortest celebrity marriage on record. She could have though. I mean the whole world knew she was being cheated on but she stuck it out. When you are answering divorce questions during your honeymoon, you know it is trouble. Finally, today in a Tweet she said the marriage was over. She probably figured after that episode this week, which might have been the best RHNY episode ever, a divorce announcement would fit right with it.

Sentencing Day For The Giudices And Their $13M Debt Is Back

Not only are Joe and Teresa Giudice getting sentenced today and facing years in jail, but they found out this week that the $13M in debt they thought was discharged by a bankruptcy trustee was overturned by the judge overseeing their bankruptcy. So, instead of having no debt, they now have $13M in debt and are looking at prison time. I still believe that Teresa will get no actual jail time and Joe probably will be given a couple of months before he has to show up for jail, it might even be until after the holidays. If Teresa is not sentenced it is going to be up to her to try and pay off that massive debt so you can be assured there will be lots of marketing herself and her products but does anyone want to buy things she is selling? She has taken a big fall in support and popularity from the days when she had a best selling cookbook and people would line up for an hour to meet her.

Bethenny Frankel Is Returning To Real Housewives

Several months ago I told you that despite the public protestations to the contrary that Bethenny Frankel was in talks to return to Real Housewives and that Kelly Bensimon would also be returning. US Weekly confirmed the participation of Bethenny for this season and you know if they are bringing her back they need someone for her to spar with and there is no better person for that than Kelly Bensimon. It is not like Kelly does anything with her days other than get photos of herself taken while she models a full selection of her workout gear and then hits up a red carpet or two every evening. This will give them both what they want. Fame. They want to be on television. Bethenny wants to sell more of her stuff and get a chance to have her own show again in some form and Kelly would like to have the attention and the nice paycheck she will probably get if she also signs up to appear on the show next season.

Joe And Teresa Giudice Divorcing

Last week, Joe and Teresa Giudice listed their home for sale. Yesterday they listed their beach house and boat for sale. Why all the selling? The couple is divorcing and have reached a settlement so are dividing all the cash. Homes are not going to do Joe Giudice any good for the next several years or maybe forever if he is deported so in the divorce he wants cash. Teresa doesn't have enough money to buy him out of either of the properties so they are selling them and will split the proceeds. I would expect an announcement of their divorce once all the properties are actually sold. If they announce it prior to the sale, then people will low ball them because they know they need the money. 

Was The Apollo Nida Blowup Staged For The Cameras?

Yesterday, Apollo Nida was supposed to report to prison to begin serving his eight year jail sentence. Instead of arriving when he was supposed to, he waited until the Bravo cameras were in place recording Phaedra Parks at their home. Then he forced his way inside the house and while cameras were rolling yelled and screamed at Phaedra and got mad at her for not putting money in his prison account and for telling him she won't bring their kids to visit him in jail. He then grabbed a bag and stuffed some things inside and left. This all seems so contrived and set up. The guy has been doing public appearances for the past month and probably has plenty of cash to fund his prison account. It sounds like the first three episodes of OITNB and it is interesting that he waited until all the cameras were set up before he decided to make his appearance. Now, you could argue that an arrest warrant was issued because he didn't show up on time and he would risk having his sentence extended, but chances of his sentence running longer are slim. Plus, Bravo now has something to promote for next season to spice things up.
