Teresa Giudice Spends $10K On Daughter's Music Video

With millions in debt to repay and almost $500K in restitution owed, you would think Joe and Teresa Giudice would cut back the spending. Nope. Instead, the couple dropped $10K to pay for a share of the daughter's music video which cost approximately $30K to shoot. That is a ton of money for a band that has yet to play and has never released a video. The song is a Britney Spears cover of Circus and the video is going to be released tomorrow. As with any Giudice escapade, her daughter is dressed in a leather corset because that is what all 13 year old girls wear, or at least what Teresa would have them wear. I think Teresa suffers from insecurity but she feels more secure when she is spending vast sums of money and making the world see that she still has plenty of money and that nothing bothers her. I hope for her sake that she reported she had that $10K to spend and that it didn't suddenly turn up like all of her jewelry. 

Teresa Giudice Blames Her Attorney For Jail Sentence

Last night the first part of a two part interview with Joe and Teresa Giudice aired on Watch What Happens Live. I have a hard time believing that Teresa is as naive as she made herself out to be. First, she says she has not told her daughters that she is going to jail, but I don't see how they can't know and I don't understand not being the one to tell them rather than someone at school or someone they run into. Teresa also said that she didn't know that when she pleaded guilty that it meant she might get jail time. She says that is why she hired an attorney and that attorneys are supposed to fight for her. Umm, they do, but attorneys also expect you to provide them with the information they need for paperwork that needs to be filed with the court so it isn't six months late. They also need to have you provide them with correct information so that you do not perjure yourself and try to lie to the court.In the filings Teresa says she has no jewelry. None. If you watch any episode of RHNJ you can see about $200K worth of jewels just on her arm. I don't understand her at all and she continues to blame everyone but herself.

Teresa Giudice Showed Up Four Hours Late To Reunion Show

Teresa Giudice had a long week and has less than three months before she has to report to prison for 15 months, so even though she was getting paid to appear on the reunion show of Real Housewives-New Jersey she probably figured they needed her to make the show interesting and showed up four hours late to the taping yesterday afternoon. Needless to say, none of the other castmates were happy at the delay or the fact that Teresa needed to repeatedly take breaks to compose herself and deal with what is going on in her life. She probably thought that since she won't be around for the next year, it is not exactly like they can fire her, but she is going to have to pay off that $13M debt somehow when she gets out so it probably would have been a good idea to be on her best behavior for the taping just so producers would invite her back once she completes her sentence. Instead, she ticked off everyone as she always does and made permanently replacing her that much easier.

Teresa And Joe Giudice Sentenced To Prison

The judge yesterday was not happy with Joe and Teresa Giudice. Teresa would probably have got no jail time or been able to serve her sentence under house arrest but the couple basically shot themselves in the foot and gave the judge no choice but to lock them away. Before handing down Joe's sentence, the judge threatened the couple with a perjury charge because they had omitted almost a million dollars of property from their financial disclosure statements which they had also filed almost six months late. The judge said that through their actions and their never ending habit of trying to manipulate and deceive that it was hard to be lenient on them. If they had filed the paperwork on time and been honest, the sentences would have been much lower.

Instead, Joe got sentenced to serve 41 months in jail which he will begin serving after Teresa serves her sentence of 15 months which she will start serving on January 5. If I were Teresa I think I would have started serving my sentence next month. Yes, she would miss these holidays, but would be home for them next year. The federal time off for good behavior is not like in states, especially like California and there is no assurance if she starts in January that she will be out until after the holidays next year. As for Joe? He says he needs rehab for a booze problem and he has to spend the next 18 months knowing he will be going to jail for 3.5 years. After he gets out, then he will find out if he is going to be deported back to Italy.

Sentencing Day For The Giudices And Their $13M Debt Is Back

Not only are Joe and Teresa Giudice getting sentenced today and facing years in jail, but they found out this week that the $13M in debt they thought was discharged by a bankruptcy trustee was overturned by the judge overseeing their bankruptcy. So, instead of having no debt, they now have $13M in debt and are looking at prison time. I still believe that Teresa will get no actual jail time and Joe probably will be given a couple of months before he has to show up for jail, it might even be until after the holidays. If Teresa is not sentenced it is going to be up to her to try and pay off that massive debt so you can be assured there will be lots of marketing herself and her products but does anyone want to buy things she is selling? She has taken a big fall in support and popularity from the days when she had a best selling cookbook and people would line up for an hour to meet her.
