Today's Blind Items--Kindness
I had been saving this one to combine it with a jackass, but I just feel like I need a kindness today. Writing this kindness is hard for me, because of my overall negative feelings for the person involved, which should give you a big clue. She is a B list actress, hit television show, and been in some really bad movies. And no, it isn't Denise Richards. You can be sure I will never write a kindness about her, even if she saves the life of a school bus full of nuns. Anyway, this actress is a publicity hungry piranha, except when it comes to one thing. For the past few years, this actress quietly sneaks off to some after school programs to help disadvantage children with their schoolwork, to mentor them, and just to make them laugh and smile. She has a circle of schools and programs she attends, and makes an effort to go to at least one a week, and if she skips a week, makes it up with two visits the following week.
She does this because she feels it is important, and not for any publicity or attention. The kids love when she goes. They all loved her before she got famous and love her the same now. Since here recent success, she has donated money to many of these programs and to scholarships to enable these children to continue on to college. Because it is the holiday season, I have decided to give the evil one her due, and to applaud her for her selflessness this one time.

Eva Longoria! She has a sister (I believe) that has disabilities- and Eva is a great sister to her, and has volunteered for years because of it.

Eva - she just gave an interview where she opened up about her sister and how special she is.
Well, it probably is Eva, but I will mix it up a bit and guess Debra Messing. I seem to recall Ent expressing his disdain for her in the past.

Wait, what really bad movies was Longwhoria been in? IMBD has a bunch of made for TV movies....is this supposed to count for film??
I vote for Eva too, 'cuz of Ent's comments and a picture with her mentally challenged sister was just published. Didn't Eva have a small part playing a cop? I can't remember who the male lead was, maybe Will Smith?
During the Will and Grace heyday, I would think Debra Messing was considered A list with all the comparisons to Lucy and the one-time popularity of the show. But, I'm crazy for that show, so maybe I'm biased. FYI - Season Seven is coming soon on DVD.
I remember hearing about her in some movie with Freddy Rodriguez, and I was like, "nooo! Not my Freddy!!"...
But yeah, Longoria was the first person I thought of too. Ent has been openly unimpressed with her lots of times.
Eva was in "The Sentinel" w/ Kiefer last year... and one other bad one that I saw was on shotime or hbo the other day.
most of the people who came to mind are not smart enough to help with homework. God help those poor children.
p.s. how could they have loved her before she became famous? Was she doing this work before the fame thing? So "the past few years" hmmmm

I agree that its her and I think its great she is contibuting to society BUT she said thing slike"Love is Mandatory."
I think she revealed this about herself because she has quite the rep for being a diva.
I was thinking Terri Hatcher?? Wouldn't she fit the clues??
Whoever is doing this and on the sly with no desire for the publicity is certainly not as Evil as you think she is.
Not too many people I know do this sort of thing on that sort of scale.

Zach Braff, just saw pictures of him at the Spirit Awards. The scruff was gone, the foundation was on.

This one is most definitely Eva. Ent always calls her "the evil EL" . . . Enty being the good EL. So, despite the fact of the big clue at the beginning, his calling her "the evil one" sealed it for me.

Ent has pointed out in the past that JLH loves to call pub hounds when she's out and about. So I can see where this is painful for him to give kudos. At the same time, it's the right thing to do.

It is definately not Sarah Michelle Gellar. I don't think she knows that anyone else exists besides her in the world. In all media accounts, she is widely known among journalists and thoe in the industry of being highly self-centered.

1. WTF would this need to be a blind item?
2. If it is Eva Longoria, again wtf does it need to be a blind item when it's already been in the news? It's just more proof that EL reconfigures news items with his own spin and pretends to be "in the know".
3. If it's true, how could someone hate somebody who does something like this? But I forget, this comes from a person who can *hate* people for not tipping as much as they should. Way to get your priorities straight.

justind - Ent does say that it has been in the news, but the part about the actress visiting every week with children many people do not know about.
Why do some of you people complain about Ent "pretending" to be in the know? Just because he isn't the only gossip columnist to mention something doesn't mean that he "recycles" the news. When he hears something, it's likely that the other bloggers have heard it too. Even if he heard it/posted it later than the other bloggers posting it, it doesn't make it less valid.
Ent has already told us that he only reveals something when a few other people know about it so that he doesn't get caught. He was already busted with another blind item. I don't want Ent to get in trouble since I love reading his posts. His livelyhood depends on his real occupation.
I'm sure Ent really likes dishing the dirt but we (readers) are not paying his bills. Why should he risk his real career/contacts to please a bunch of ungrateful whiners? For everyone who complains about Ent, realize that he has a job outside of this blog.

On another note, the things he says about Denise Richards, now that makes me wonder why he totally depises her (not that there is plenty to dislike her for, but his comments allude to a deeper dislike than the ones we already know about). I would love to know that one!
Sis, how about this: he hates her because she's a golddigger. She's vile. And once upon a time, long long ago, she was Madame Fleiss's most popular filly in the stable. Thats how she met Charlie.
Not to mention the woman has admitted before to the press that she'd lied about certain things previously.
Thanks Trix....There is plenty to dislike her, I for one, used to love Richie Sambora and Bon Jovi before his fiasco hookup with her! I lost all respect for Richie, and I think he showed his true alcoholic colors (maybe he was thinking the grass was greener..or maybe just plain stupid). As for Denise, at the very least, she is a gold-digger and liar, she had no problem even admitting her manipulation of Charlies' girlfriend to make her jealous and admitted it in a magazine interview (Lainey even reported on it, and she also hates DR). It just seems that ENT knows more about her than we know, just wondering!
Yeah I'm wondering about the comment about Jennifer Love Hewitt and not being "all there". I do know that she loves to set up paparazzi snaps, when they take the bait. I do know that she rants during interviews about "Dont talk about my breasts, I mean they're so great, but I'm so over talking about them, so no questions about my breasts!" when in fact her breasts were NEVER a huge topic of conversation and no one really cares. No to mention they're small and saggy anyway.
DN I guess she was on my mind because I watched "I know what you did last summer" last weekend. While it did decent at the BO, c'mon. It was a pretty bad movie :)
Can I throw in a Jessica Alba, just for variety?
